Also he saying that didnt shoot any of Emily vitals, when i clearly shoot her with a shotgun 6 times in the heart was the nail in the coffin for me.
And finally he not destroying the G sample in RE2 as soon as he got his hand on it was fucking stupid and that was where i started to hate the guy. He just saw first hand what that shit did to RC and he want to deliver directly to USA gov ? Peak moronic.

They are all kinda stereotypical good guys at the end of the day.
I doubt anyone could list 5 qualities that distinguish claire from jill or chris from leon, they are not exactly deep characters.

I just started yesterday and I'm loving it so far, I just wish they wouldn't jump back and forth between Grace and Leon so frequently. I feel like just when I'm getting into a groove with one, they swap to the other.

I fucking love Leon and I'm so glad my GOAT survived the game. Not only that, but he took out Mr. X and a perfected Nemesis? And he turned HUNK into fodder? Holy LMAO he's GOATed.
Yeah, this was the scariest part of the game to me due to my phobia. I loved every second, but you better believe I unloaded my Requiem.dude FUCK the beginning of raccoon city, especially with this level of fidelity. Holy fuck

Capcom would never put Leon to shoot a main character 6 times in cold blood in front of her hunsband and then proceds to kidnap his daugther, that i guarantee you. Also if Leon is more as a marvel super hero as i said, Chris is more like a DC anti hero imo, dude ll do the job no matter how gray it is.I personally prefer chris but i don't exactly hate leon

He took a dark turn in re8 but until 6 he was still kinda of a good, stoic character.
I think that scene in re8 was more for shock factor than real characterization tbh but maybe i'm wrong.

That's that. I did both endings. I was glad i got the option to choose to restart immediately before the choice. Imo the first half of the game is better than the second, but overall I really enjoyed my time with it.

On this first playthrough (I'm nearing the end of Leon's detonator parts segment), the distinct changes in gameplay have all been a treat:
Opening with classic RE7-style gameplay and then switching over to RE6-style pure action cinema, and back and forth a few times.
Then we get mini-The Last of Us Part 3/Evil Within 2 with Leon in RC.
I don't know what comes next, and I want to be surprised.
I do wonder how it'll hold up on replays, since part of the joy is being surprised at what comes next, but so far, I really dig what they've done.

Unless they absolutely fuck up the landing, this is one of the best RE games I've ever played. I don't think I've ever been so immersed and pumped in a RE game that wasn't a remake. I haven't felt so invested in a new RE game since Code Veronica.
If I have a complaint so far, is that while the bestiary is not as constrained as I thought, lots of interesting enemy types are basically used for 'this one encounter' instead of recurring enemies. I would've loved it if I had encountered
more often instead of just once.

I have nothing against Leon, but Capcom needs to make a smooth transition of protagonists. He and Chris need to become mentor figures and don't get killed, simple as that. But knowing Capcom, they will keep pushing the old carries until they can't anymore.

You really think they did that for the sake of the logic
. There is less sense alsi to make them vulnerable to some bullets if even their head empaled can't stop them. They surely could handle better the stealth kill mechanics in this game and make it more fun to use. I encountered different moment where you are stuck with many zombies and you can go forward just with trail and error attempts.

there is a plug you left back by the second forklift... if you lock yourself out by removing the plug before it, you can't get back to the plug by the forklift... you might have to insert the two plugs at the end to cause this bug... but even if you take them back out, it won't let you put one in to go get the seconf one by the forklift

O.O I just said the Grace gameplay can be really annoying and frustrating because the stealth mechanic could be handled a lot better. I push my patience to ending such part because the "hide and seek mode" doesn't work very well in some spots.

c'mon Ethan is a good guy, sure he doesnt have a face, but he is far from been those silent protagonists like Dead Space Isaac in the original DS games.
Dude have balls of steel for coming to that place to look for his dead wife and he even become a better character in 8, by the end he even sacrifice himself to save his daughter, dude was the ultimate hero, all this being a fucking civilian, dude was the most human character to ever been a protagonist in a RE game and thats why i like him.
