And there's my point, it's all speculation.. He knows f all about this matter and just as speculative as you or me. Just throw it all at the wall and see what sticks, and he has an out if it's all untrue.
i dont see any gaas written in that text tbh . but time will tell .![]()

You think Jason Schrierer knows no more about this than any of us regular forum folk? Come on man. Don't make yourself look silly. We've already had one guy in this thread do that.
Yeah its possible to dislike jason for alot of things but normally when he do stuff like this he knows something.
Me too ... all I wanted is that Nintendo did a normal console for current gen so I could have options or MS didnt completely fuck up ... unfortunately playstation right now is the only serious player on this field. As soon as AMD is better I would jump ship I only go for the best
Even if Sony pulls back on PC, I do not see them giving up PC ports to GAAS games. They are much more profitable (when they work) on PC than Sony selling their first-person games. I would also think that they also have less impact on PlayStation console sales and provide more of an audience.i dont see any gaas written in that text tbh . but time will tell .

They could help with day one porting to all those gaas games.
Sacrifice nixxes to bring back bluepoint
Also someone's gotta do those live service ports.
*Live service![]()
Sony still plan to release GAAS games day and date. Its just SP games that are being kept exclusives.
They'll be the ones porting Sony's GAAS games to PC.
They'll be porting the Live-service games to PC as they'll still be multiplatform in the future. Not single-player ones.
Ther are other uses for nixxes though.
The obvious one is gaas ports to pc, we already know they help other sony studios also they could i suppose be used to port ps exclusives to the ps handheld.
Its for gaaaaaas

This doesn't say anything though, PR talkSo far, Jason is wrong on the thing he was 'adamant' about. The Saros director hasn't come out and said no and hasn't said yes. They want everyone to buy the PS5 version, which is to be expected. Like Rockstar with GTA6 they want that double dip money.

Nixxes have never done any GAAS games ports and they are not involved in porting of any upcoming GAAS games. They have provided a tech support role. All their ports have been single player first party titles. The fact that their job description has become more defined very recently to indicate this speaks volumes than a speculative journalist.
Nixxes is helping tremendously with GaaS games regardless of first-party SP strategy shift. Recent HD2 size reduction miracle was done mostly by them.
Never did is different that never will .... they can be keeped to continue and help with projects and eventually be used to port a game, it maybe Gaas it maybe Single Player ... who knows. Where's the hard evidence for this beside a vague job description change of one studio.

I have no problem with Sony continuing PC ports. I like the way they handle it. However, because Nixxes has not ported GAAS gams in the past does not mean they will not in the future. It seems like they are consolidating PC ports to one area and bringing other studios back to focus on the PlayStation.Nixxes have never done any GAAS games ports and they are not involved in porting of any upcoming GAAS games. Why does it say specialized instead of specializing?

It also says specialized like mr moose mentioned. Its a weird framing giving the context.
Sony will never say openly about their port plans ... plans change and they dont want to look like fools if in the future something changes again. Theres absolutely nothing to be gained right now with the expression "saros will never come to pc"This doesn't say anything though, PR talk
We don't know either way, my guy, is all im saying. Point me to where they are porting a future GAAS game and not providing technical support assistance
I think you're reading too much into that word. They wouldn't be on the Sony studio page in the first place if they were no longer doing PC ports.
Well when that happens ill sure to let you know .. right now nobody knows what they are doing besides support. We don't know either way, my guy, is all im saying. Point me to where they are porting a future GAAS game and not providing technical support assistance
Point out where they are porting a future single player game.
Problem is, Sony keeps the porting of single-player games secret for obvious reasons. So no way of knowing, whereas I think Sony would be more transparent about whos going what on a GAAS game. GAAS games, its seems, are never ported anyway and are built alongside a PC version and not done after the fact.
I almsot sure that they will be porting Marvel Tokon and that co-op game from L4D dude in the shadows, because HD2 is not even mentioned on their website. In short, they have their hands full even with the current portfolio. You outright dismissed the job description in the other thread.
Yes, asShaiKhulud1989 just pointed out

Helldivers 2 Install Size on PC Shrinks by 85% Thanks to Nixxes
With the help of Nixxes, Arrowhead managed to reduce the install size of Helldivers 2 on PC by 85%, saving you 131GB of space.wccftech.com

Why would they share if nixxes is doing work for gaas pc ports going forward. It doesnt matter for customers.
Even more pathetic than I thought lol. You're doing Yogaflame wrong and I can prove it: In the thread where PC owners were asked, he voted that he would buy a PlayStation. So he's just a PC player and doesn't even own a PlayStation!!!!!!!!
I hope they decide they can manage their own PC ports internally and sell the studio to Nintendo who then use the Nixxes to port all of their first party games to PC (officially)… but exclusively for an first party launcher.Nixxes is an annoyance to Sony. I hope its abolish or restructured. Thats why Nintendo is the goat. They dont have unnecessary type of team and department to port exclusives to pc.
The PC version is usually built around the PC version or alongside by the original developer anyway and Nixxes are in a support role. I don't think they have ever done a port of a GAAS game only assisted
You're going to have to explain this one. Who is K'The Barbarian?
Why does it matter if they have yet to port a gaas game. I dont see the correlation?
He's a smug, impetuous prick, but he's definitely well connected. Seems people like him for some ungodly reason. Can't stand the guy myself, but there is no doubting he has deep connections in the industry.
Its not about him but iam sure you know that already
But you argue like itw not possible for them to handle gaas games because they dont have any experience. Hows the correlation to that. It doesnt make any sense.
