That would be one of the dumbest decisions imaginable. It would make sense coming from Microsoft, but I don't buy it. They seem to be making decisions overnight.

They could announce tomorrow that Gears is no longer exclusive. At this point, anything can happen, their word means nothing.

Question is - why even announce a title you knew would be cancelled a few days later?

We now know he said "no comment" because he knew then that the whole studio was going to be shut down.
