I heard this for the first time a couple of months ago, and it seems like it's already overused and used in situations that don't apply. Dumb.

Yeah maybe I'm old too. Seems like some people are just desperate to introduce terms like simping, throwing shade, thirsting, dry begging, all that stuff.

I think language is fluid but the weird obfuscation is something I don't quite get.
