[UK] Digital ID to be compulsory for all UK adults under government plans

Basically there isn't enough funds for defence.

Why? Probably because of the amount we spend on benefits which make up one of the single largest areas of UK gov expenditure. Not only is it a massive slice of the pie, but total spending has also been rising significantly in recent years.

The welfare budget constitutes roughly a quarter (around 24% to 25%) of all UK gov spending, making it easily the largest single area of public expenditure and it's going to keep growing. Could be pushing £400 billion per year by 2030.

We're just giving out free money. Some need benefits, but others sponge off the state like a parasite.
It's a problem, but 55% of social security spending is on the state pension, and that's just going to get worse over the next few decades.

We all know who the latest changes benefit the most too, raising the child pay out cap from two to infinity largely benefits Muslim family bases as their women's purpose is to pop out kids the most. Then throw in all the free child days out stuff, high focus on children's clubs, free travel for kids and teens, etc. I hardly feel like I'm getting anything back from the system.

It just never stops...
