All I know of Black Lightning was that Final Crisis tie-in that was included in the hardcover. It was okay. I think he might have been standing in the background of a bunch of other stuff I read too.

When it was announced a while back that Akil they had signed with WB TV, I had a what felt like a pipe dream that they would get involved with Berlqnti and co. and either run Vixen in live action or something else superhero-ey.

So no CW tie in. I'm torn. I'm glad it will get its own identity...but I'll miss out on the crossovers. The synopsis sounds unique (retired super hero getting back in the game) and I'm stoked that more DC stuff will be on the air.

I still hope Blue Devil shows up eventually.

not that great but they stretch the CGI budget for flash pretty well.

this is Fox though so it will likely have better production values behind it.

Since its on Fox I expect Gotham-tier production values. So top notch sets, major actors in supporting roles, etc.

S2 was freaking amazing(was my absolute favorite show on at that time)
S1 turned decent/good about halfway.
S2 will be on Netflix by the 19th of September.
