Local news article:
The Daily Show, featured on Comedy Central, was recently in Ranger filming a segment on alarming levels of lead in the water.

Correspondent Hasan Minhaj released the seven-minute-long report entitled "Brown in Town - A West Texas Water Crisis" on Wednesday, which uses The Daily Show's signature hint of satire to compare Ranger's water situation to the crisis in Flint, Michigan.

Minhaj spoke with locals who told him they avoid using the water for eating, cooking, bathing, and more, due to the ongoing issues with lead.

City leaders also sat down for an interview with Minhaj, claiming the water is safe and even drinking the water on camera. The leaders then admitted there is lead in the water, and they are working to fix the issue.
