*You can play Dino Survival mode through these mission types in the aforementioned fields.

*Fields and mission not included in the OBT2 will be available in the retail version, greatly increasing the number of possible combinations.

*Save data will not be carried over to the retail version of the game.

Changes I've noticed:

Better/Cleaner UI
Better Framerate/Slight upgrade in visuals from Beta 1
New skills/skill rebalances from Beta 1
Enemy rebalances(harder to kill dinosaurs)
The amount of smaller dinosaurs they throw at you in 10 player PvE is insane(and the framerate on console stays rock solid at 60fps when this happens)
The boss dinosaurs in 10 player PvE is equivalent to fighting a raid boss in an online RPG(Must be careful about skill usage, healing, and spacing)

Sweet! looking forward to giving it a go when I get home in a bit.
Hope you enjoy it. Just keep in mind it won’t reflect the full experience at release, as the beta is still missing the other PvE modes they announced during the Capcom showcase. They’re still taking feedback very seriously and can(and will) restructure the game again for release if people aren't satisfied with what’s presented in the beta.

At the end of the day they just want people to have fun, not for this to be an e-sport or anything. So they want a smooth launch and a good gameplay loop to reflect that.

Oh yeah I'm probably in the minority that really enjoyed the previous beta also. It's a weird mishmash of a bunch of things and not all of the modes work but where it shines is just the moment to moment gameplay where it has that typical Capcom feeling of snappy controls, flashy animations and interesting mechanics.

Not sure if it's something I dive in on day one but after playing the first beta they definitely won me over. I just wish it priced more competitively or perhaps even put out as an F2P title as this needs all the players it can get in order to sustain itself.

Why? Not everything needs to be a remake or a sequel. Geez, if you want to play Dino Crisis then just go and play that, there's three of them and you can play them right now.

We need more original IPs and not just endless rehashing of old ideas that prey on your nostalgia.
You have not understood the character of the statement.
Admittedly, it is difficult to read the intention of the author of an online post, but you can be sure that my statement was not meant seriously.
Am I interested in Exoprimal? No
Would I be more interested in Dino Crisis Remake with the love and effort of the RE2 Remake? Yes
Is Exoprimal a bad game because of that? No
You just can't give my one-liners that much content value, believe me, it's not worth it.

I kind of agree that it was a mistake to make this a full priced game. My hope is that Gamepass on PC and Xbox will help the player numbers a bit so that the online portion/community can be around long enough to see another bump when it drops in price on steam and PlayStation.

To be fair though, this is me speaking from the perspective of not knowing how involved of a campaign they’ve built. If it ends up being a really cool 8-15 hour experience, teaching you how to use each mech along the way, and then testing your mech switching skills each situation, then that could possibly make up for the price point for me.

Depending on how the story goes, I can see Magnum as a good deuteragonist and potential face of the series if there’s ever a sequel. He's the guy in the Mech on the left that has the Capcom colors:

I was surprised by how the narrative opens up with subsequent multiplayer matches, seems really clever how you don't know what's coming but each match adds to the narrative. I also really like being able to hot swap classes. That's super cool. The game runs great and is fun. I want to love this game so hard but I can tell no one cares.

Landing on Gamepass so at least there’s a good chance of having a decent playerbase

Thanks for the heads up, this is one that has only slightly piqued my interest since its a big sell for my group, but having a story mode is more relieving for me, and since we're mostly on Xbox GP is an easy sell to at least get them to try it. Didn't know there was another Beta so I'm dl'ing it now.

What's your opinion Gaiz ?

I must have put about 2-3 hours in the 1st Beta and another 3-4 in this one and :

While I did have some fun this game - i'm sorry - feels like a F2P game most of the time, its completely devoid of any Capcom charm® and it feels like the typical, cynical online game where you basically grind just to unlock shit (not available in the beta obviously).
There's only a handful of game modes (even in the full game), it has battle passes and the gameplay is basic as fuck - and this goes for 60-65 Eurodollars? Man, GTFO...

Besides that :
- Shooting lacks "oomph", weapons feel weak, hit confirmation is weak, weapon sounds also lack "oomph", it feels.like you're hitting cardboard boxes ffs.

- Characters lack weight.

- Exosuit designs - with a few exceptions - feel generic and almost ripped straight up from games like Destiny, OW etc.
Sniper lady is straight out of Destiny, Witch doctor looks cack and silly, the loli skate one is Generic JPN game as it gets, the melee blue guy with its...clothing hanging on the sides looks ridiculous etc etc.

- Some abilities/moves feel extremely tacked-on and useless.

- There's just not enough content for a full release and everything feels extremely repetitive.

All in all, while I'd have liked for this game to succeed, the repetitive nature, lack of content, uncertain future (i.e doesn't seem like it has any real legs) battle pass gouging and MSRP are enough to turn me off, I mean, I could buy FF16 for almost the same price or Armored core 6 2 months down the line.

This should have been either a F2P title or, be available only on game services like Gamepass and PS plus extra.
Talking about Gamepass, it will be available there day 1 so some people can actually give it a try and get a feel for it, 65 $ for this game though is completely laughable and a joke...

My opinion ? this will be dead 5-6 months after it's release much like Anthem, Evolve, Back4Blood etc, it's just too niche, it's content-light (lacking) and it just lacks any real charm.

PS: this will be a joypad destroyer, good luck spamming the R2 triggers 109737288484 times per minute when using the melee characters.

Unfortunately, I agree.

I was hyped on the first beta, but after this one the gameplay loop feels too shallow.

If it was a pve only game I could see some appeal, maybe with the game having some character customization with levels and abilities to unlock, even having different builds and loot.

But as a competitive game, the gameplay simply doesn't hold, it is too shallow and arcade like. A pre-made team holds a gigantic advantage against a team of randoms, which is expected, but when you are competing on which team is faster on pve, any chance of winning is close to zero.

Also, when the pvp starts it doesn't feel good to play, the lack of a lock on system o melee units makes things chaotic and being attacked from every side by dinossaurs while having to deal with long range and the close range players at the same time is quite annoying, specially since the exo suits are not balanced.

The story seems terrible, the Ai talking every second is annoying and the soundtrack is not memorable.

The best part of this beta was the 10 player coop boss fight. Again, as a pve game this might work, as a pvp... Well, I rather play other thing.

This game kinda reminds me of Lost Planet 2, a great game, which has an amazing pve coop experience, plus a extra weak pvp mode, that most of the player base didn't care about it. Except that in Exo Primal case, Capcom shoved the pvp with the pve and too add insult to the injury, it has a battle pass.

Taking down a large dino is fun but everything else is kind of off-putting. The vortices, the AI thing that talks all the time, the inert environments.
