Pokemon numbers are lower than recent core series but Switch hardware boost is beast though, thx to Smash and Pokemon bundles.

Pokemon Let's go did better than I thought. I was expecting below 450k. Very good. And also Switch hardware sales were as expected. I read a lot of retailers and related saying that it could be in between 200 and 250k, Which is a very impressive number.

Since the word of mouth for Pokemon Let's go is very good, maybe next week they will have high numbers too. And this make me think that, 1 million for Smash on the first week, is very likely.

If you mean hardware, Switch isn't doing 10 times the PS4. Switch is averaging 40k/week while PS4 17k/week I think. Just this week and possibly coming weeks for Pokemon and Smash. Although I don't know how big Smash is in Japan.

Nah, Let's go sales in Japan is disappointing by pokemon standard there.

Splatoon 2 opened with a similar number with a much lower install base.
Smash Bros Ultimate is going to smash Let's go pathetic number without a problem.
