I've honestly never loved a Vanillaware game, but they're always gorgeous and worth a purchase.

SRPG is way more my speed compared to the awkward beat em ups they've done in the past. I'm hoping this could be one of their best.

that's not how it works sonny
Vanillaware is a small studio, and most of their staff are artists. From what I've read, they made a custom toolset that focused on 2D. They probably think it's not worth the effort/too hard to optimize their games to PC.

We also see many Japanese games that have bad PC port

the optimization is the part that take a while, but then again all their games are litreally 2D visual novels an Android phone can run.
saying its not worth the effort is such early 2000 mindset since the PC market now rivals the console market in revenue, all you have to do is look at their twitter feed, everyone even the japanese players are begging for PC port of their games. im pretty sure someone is moneyhatting it to keep it off PC for some retarded reason

Why? It would make sense Sony moneyhatted to keep it from releasing on Xbox or vice versa but it doesn't make zero sense do on PC.

Vanillaware make FANTASTIC games but their games is no mega seller that makes worth for Sony, Microsoft or even Nintendo spend money to keep it out other platform.

I think they just don't have someone to port it. If they made their own engine, it's difficult to add the function. They even need to modify the engine for 13 Sentinels just to make character expression. Even 13 Sentinels was really long and got delayed.

I just checked their website. Their current staff number is only 29 and most of it are artists. They even didn't update their official website design.
