Conker is a game that lives and dies on the strength that is provided from the level of irreverence maintained from a singular voice. A comedy game needs a visionary, and Seavor was that visionary.
Bad Fur Day wasn't always slated to be what it was, he was brought on board late in development around the time the game was shifting from Twelve Tales to Bad Fur Day. He retooled most of it into what it came to be. Much like South Park, the game comes with the benefits of having that thematic consistency in satirical edge because all of that stems from a very, very limited number of creative leads (in South Park's case its two people, in Bad Fur Day it's just Seavor).
Am I saying he has to be the one to do Conker? Of course not, I'm sure a lot of people could take a stab at it. Thing is, I'm not confident Rare actually has any talent similar to him, or would even want to get someone who has the same outlandish capacity for getting great mighty poos passed the radar. The company's gotten homogenized to a large degree, and the last time Rare actually tried to be funny in Nuts & Bolts, it was nothing but an endless string of poorly delivered fourth wall jokes. That's not what Conker is about, and I pray to god that's not what they come out with.
