Final Fantasy series producer Shinji Hashimoto did a quick interview with Famitsu on the recent Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD collection announcement. One of the questions that was asked is If there will be any new information on Final Fantasy XV at E3 and the reply was that it was not the 'optimal' timing to release anything new about FFXV. There was also a small bit about If there was going to be more on KH3 at E3 but I'm not completely sure on it. I think he says he still needs more time until he can release more information on KH3.

2. No FFXV info at E3 but they will show something in a bit of a different context regarding the title. They are preparing to reveal more information for FFXV at an event later this year.

Regarding why, they said that KH3 will still take more time, and that it was decided that it was not the optimal time to release new information about FFXV.
