No New Final Fantasy XV Info at E3 2014

Is it possible that FF16 releases before FF15?
Gamescom will be time for Eidos.
XV was announced nearly a year and a half before Witcher 1 came out.
Man they are doing a bang up job turning that boat around at SE.
Not getting a PS4 till 2016 confirmed. That's fine, I got a PS Plus backlog and Persona 5 coming, im good.
The problem most long time SE fans have is the looooooooooooooong development cycle SE takes. People weren't really expecting FFXV this year (except maybe that Famassu guy) but when SE doesn't show anything new for a game that pretty much cancels out the following year. My prediction now is Japan, maybe holiday 2015 IF they show FFXV running fully at TGS this year. US release for spring 2016. If they show nothing new at TGS this year including a demo then I would temper my expectations even further.

I won't be surprised if Kingdom Hearts 3 releases first even though it hasn't even been in development for that long. The Osaka team knows how to make quality games at a decent rate.

Two things:
I don't believe anyone posting about how little they care about the game now. I'll bet most of you will be swooning again once more footage or a release window drops.
Also, that this has had an even worse development cycle than XIII frightens me deeply.

Didn't BbS take like five years? It's a fantastic game, but that's still obscene for a handheld title.

I omitted the only, probably, good Eidos game. There's also that TPS F2P Soul Reaver game that I'm still trying to forget.
Remember the Metal Gear Rising Doc, about Kojima's pupils saying they failed at life and how they had to be rescued by an actually good development studio?
Basically the same but without being saved.
Give them a break. They are busily busting their humps trying to incorporate the scrapped assets from The Last Guardian into a new(ish) Esper animation. This kind of thing takes time.

Considering it was first a PS2 game an all, I don't think that's entirely Osaka fault. Just another SE list of stupid decisions.

I wasn't terribly impressed by last year's footage, so I doubt it. I don't know how anybody can still stay super-hyped for a game that's been in development hell for nearly a decade now.

This game was announced during the fucking launch for the PS3. A fucking launch for the PS3. A launch for the PS3. A launch title for the PS3... DAMN YOU LIGHTNING!!
I still care, its just I was a hardcore Square fan from NES/SNES days. This new SE is a different beast then the Square I used to love. I actually liked FFXIII but the fact we only got one FF main title, and a not so great one at that and not much else out of SE this gen (yes I liked Bravely Default) put into perspective with their past output i've gone lukewarm on what they are offering up. I can't stay hyped up for 8 years for a game with only a couple trailers to show. That's totally absurd.
It's difficult to say to what degree though. A pretty remake of a KH2 trailer with human looking people was in production before the PS3 launched, sure.
I will have children of my own by the time this gets out...

Any spin off will do. Personally I'd love a FFX-3 announcement or a Dissidia 3 if for next-gen consoles (or crossgen). But a FFTA3 or HD remasters are welcomed too.

Ooooh, this is a good question. At this point the thing is probably reaching a stupid budget level. No way it can turn a profit.
Was anyone honestly even expecting kingdom hearts 3 stuff? The reveal last year openly stated that they just started working on it. They revealed it far to soon. I say this as a long time kingdom hearts fan who has been waiting for 3 for years.
The info regarding fungal fantasy 15 is so infuriating. They said that they would show the game more after last e3 did they not? It will be a year now without seeing again.

For all Nintendo's faults, they know how to reveal and release games.
