I didn't see this coming at all. This minimum salary lineup has run its course. Time to re-up Pat.

Damn I look good.

only bad thing is that T mac won't get a ring now

:'(

As a Rockets fan, it would have been one of the most fraudulent rings by a superstar ever. He had his great moments in the regular season. THe 10 point comeback with like 30 seconds left against the Spurs comes to mind, but dude just looked lost and lethargic when he played in playoff games. It was baffling.

They "definitely" wouldn't have beat anyone. OKC, Memphis, even the Clippers would style on this garbage team. Chris Paul would feast on Chalmers. Best Gasol would score at will on the inside.

OKC is a two man squad that only got past the grizzlies because Randolph was suspended the last game. They're probably even more "poorly built" than the heat. And the Clippers?!?! lol. I'll give you the grizzlies though. They might have had a chance.

LeBron is the biggest business first guy in the NBA. His family isn't Wade and Bosh, its his little bro-circle.

This team doesn't look nearly as good as it did last year. They have no real point guard. No quality bigs. Wade looks awful at both ends. Spo apparently enjoys reducing Bosh to a 3pt shooter even with Ray and Allen being better at it. I don't think anyone is giving up millions, and i doubt anyone would take Wade @ 20 million after all this.

Not exactly seeing much reason for him to stay if he can team up with Melo somewhere else this year.

The Heat could still get hot and somehow win the series, but even that wouldn't change the reality of what we're seeing, and it'll only be worse next year.

Lebron is too self conscience to leave another team and become the consensus NBA villain again.

And let's be honest, Melo isn't exactly the brightest player. Hasn't exactly been the smartest player when it comes to his career, the more I think about I can completely see him trying to coattail the heat and not realizing all the things you just said.

You mean "self-conscious."

Fucking hate how breen and mark jackson team up on jvg. Desserts aren't leftovers. Breen really needs to be fired, I hate how he's always defending the refs as if he'll get fired if he says anything remotely bad about the NBA.

No...definitely the best player of this generation. Probably goes down top 5 all time.

Nah. I still don't believe it and I love Duncan. He is top 20 for me coming in at like 16. Of this generation he is up there. But I can't forget people like Oscar, Shaq, The Doctor, etc., either. I'd have to do my list. He might make top 15 no doubt.

Man, if only Lebron had help. 2 Hall of famers and an all-star ain't gonna cut it. Kobe and Jordan never had so little help. I mean, sure, Kobe went to three finals and won two titles back to back with only one hall of famer and did so in a tougher conference, but that doesn't count because I just decided so. LeBron needs help, period.

Hopefully next year he can finally get on a team with some talent and a front office that actually tries. OKC? Spurs maybe? He's already better than Jordan and Kobe he just needs help. It's not fair.

Leaving the Heat might make him a hero to many depending on which team he joins.

I don't even think I'm gonna watch game 5. To be honest I still haven't recovered from that Kentucky/Wisconsin game to even enjoy another Basketball game

A lot of quote material on this thread right now.

Heat win Sunday and everyones ass will be puckered up.

Series ain't over until someone raises the title. If you need more confirmation ask the Spurs.

Agreed. Breen sucks ass.

They should get Ian Eagle or Kevin Harlan up in there with JVG.

Lol wtf?? He has the most double-double and plays the most minutes in NBA playoff history. If he gets his 5th, he is among Top 5 easily.

He has played in a GREAT system man. Individually, while his achievements are greatness, they are still overshadowed by a couple guys in MY book. Top 15 or 20 is nothing to scoff at when the differences are at many times just personal. Putting him top 5 is batshit insane to me though.

There are definitely guys Duncan cannot handle in that top 10.

2x MVP
2x Finals MVP
5x Champion

I think that beats any player in the league right now. Better than Kobe and Shaq.

Who's holding more titles in NBA history? Jordan? Larry Bird? Shaq?

I'm glad Mr. Duncan will hold another title. I remember him playing along side the Admiral Robinson. Oh God! Great times and team they were!

I love how Duncan and Robinson bonded over Starcraft.

With the way they're making assholes pucker in Miami I hope they can go back and put on another show in South Beach to win it all. Series should have been a sweep if the Spurs had fit some FT's though.

Hilarious how Duncan gets no respect. He got 2 good years out of an over the hill Robinson and then lead the team when the roster was mediocre at best and then lead the team when all Tony Parker and Manu could do is slash. He's anchored the team's defense from day one and is in his 16th season doing it. And never got a defensive player of the year because he did jump like that idiot Camby at every little move a guy makes around the basket. He went up against prime Shaq and Kobe and got past them on his way to a 3rd title. If 4 titles(now looking at a fifth), 16 straight years in the playoffs, MVP's and allstar games don't have him as top 5 then what makes a top 5 player?
