If they intended to bring this out here, it wouldn't be a Japanese-only stream two months before release. It would have been a Nintendo Direct for all three markets or at E3.

Maybe the best we can hope for is that they'll change their minds in 2016 or something when there's a six month+ drought and they need to plug holes somehow.

Not that I really disagree, but I would think the wishes of Tecmo Koei and Kadokawa probably take precedence over what Nintendo wants to do as far as revealing this game is concerned.

Seems like KT is taking the lead in promoting it for the moment, since it's tied together with a movie release that Nintendo has NOTHING to do with.
And KT isn't exactly well-known for equal promotion of games in North America and Europe outside of DoA and Ninja Gaiden, and even then it usually isn't.
