Yeah pretty dumb idea. Yesterday it said to return today to get my ps4 code and now absolutely nothing shows up on my codes page on Bungie.net wtf...

They probably wanted to test their infrastructure to see if it held up. The app and website stuff are going to end up being a huge aspect of Destiny.

Everything crashes when tens of thousands, possibly hundreds are rushing it at the same time. PSN crashed for the Battlefield beta. Samsung's App crashed when Jay Z released his album. Everything crashes. Every online game will struggle day 1. There is no avoiding it. Such is life. The least everyone could do is roll out pre-loads a week before.

Hmm...so I got my code, redeemed it, then downloaded the Beta - "update" and all - in about 4 seconds...it won't let me in though. Says there is a problem with my PSN or connection.

Sucks for people that aren't at their Ps4 and trying to do this remotely. Best case scenario you get the client downloaded but you'll have an 11GB download waiting for you once you finally get home and launch the client.

What do you mean? The psn beta file said it was 12 gb. Please tell me it's not a smaller file that takes you into a client that once you click it will start downloading.

I'm guessing it's the same situation as the alpha... PS download is quickly completed, and the real download begins when you launch the game.
