Wait, custom moves are unlockable? OMG, that's awesome! I'm exactly the kind of person who needs unlocks like that to stay motivated even when I love smash gameplay.

Moreso than collectibles, Smash Run has the potential to be a very varied and very dynamic game mode. With the main phase randomizing things within the large map and the matches (hopefully) being more than just standard Smashes and races, there's a lot of stuff that could be really interesting there.
But time will tell.

So it can't be Co-op classic mode, which is what others and I elsewhere have determined.
Because when you think about it, it's just the same name grouping like Brawl was. For example, take a look at this:
That's the official main menu. Notice something? It's that there is no Single player mode/Solo mode in that pic. Now let's look back at the new menu
So that means everything is grouped under the Smash tab. If you look closely at that leaked pic you'll notice that the Group tab seems to have a foot in the corner that's cut off, which could be Mario/Luigi fighting a mirrored image, basically to simplify the understanding that it's just VS mode like it was in Brawl. Everything like special group mode (huge brawl, lightning brawl, tourneys, etc) would be categorized under that.
As well as Solo mode, where everything that is single player would be under that. The fact that Mario is facing Master Hand in the tab's image just probably signifies that this is the main mode for single play and this is where you face off against the boss himself.
Of course we see that previously leaked Custom menu at the bottom, which is obviously for custom moves and mii characters, and then a treasure box, which we probably don't know what that's for yet.

I still don't know if it's online or not? Is it? Cus that'd be a lot more fun then playing computers, for me.
Ice climbers are the only ones that prevent this roster from being perfect for *ME* personally. Never played lucas/wolf much, so I don't miss them, too much. That said, I understand everyone else missing them, so it'd be nice to have them back.
Snake would be the cherry on top, but I long ago accepted his omission, so I've come to peace with it.
That was denied by the guy who posted the Shulk win screen, if I'm not mistaken. Not solid evidence, but enough to make it a dubious thing. I do want Lucas to be back though, so I'm hoping we'll get him somehow.
And now it's a scavenger hunt? What next I wonder lol.

I don't think they actually confirmed if Smash Run will be online, but it does support multiplayer.

Oh I have no doubt we might see Impa in Smash 5, but from this point out, I think getting a Metroid or a DK newcomer is as much of a pipe dream as anything. It's obvious Sakurai has been mostly looking forward with his character choices rather than backwards, and since both series' only logical and wanted newcomers would be classic characters, there's no way they'll be getting in.
Laughing out loud over here.
I can only hope. Not much hope though. He'll probably get the same moves with different properties everyone else but mega man is getting

What are you putting it away for? Use it! People tend to make fun of Ganondorf for this.
There's a mod out there that gives G-Dorf two new movesets when taunting. One lets his use the sword, the other makes him very magic based, all the while you can still use his default moveset should you choose. It works with Project M. Makes him very fun to use.

No, no it isn't.
That is exactly how NessInEngland described All-Star Mode's icon looking. He also posted the lock, indicating that, for some reason, it was locked. This likely means that it needed to be unlocked, which, in previous Smashes, was done by unlocking all characters.
