So All Star mode is locked, there's no way Sakurai's OCDish ways are going to let that CSS screen not be completely filled at this point, and there's room for exactly five more characters so...

All Star being locked doesn't necessarily mean anything in this context. Right? The indication is that we're seeing an ESRB compilation video. Nothing says that all the shots are taken from the same save file or whatever. So the CSS could be everything, then the All Star shots could simply be from before all those were unlocked.
I wonder why the leaker doesn't record the whole thing for us, or at least big chunks.

I recall some people trying to determine whether the character screens, like Doc Mario were fake or not, by comparing them with other Doc Mario renders. That's pretty smart, and not something to ridicule, even if it turned out to be true.

I'm more more worried about the ESRB. I mean this has wider repercussions than just Smash.
Also there's still the fact that not everything was leaked i.e. Wii U stuff.

The lock is real! The Dream is still alive! I actually hope we don't know who the extra character(s) are until release date. At this point it's unfortunate so much has leaked so I'm only expecting a couple more newcomer videos probably of Shulk (for sure) and a couple of the others just to tide over the unaware until release. I doubt Sakurai would announce the nonleaked characters now at the risk of having the whole roster known prelaunch, although I'm not sure how much a leak would even impact his media plans in the first place.
Pants unzipped since the Shulk video appeared. I'm ready.
