Anyone know if DLC contributes to the Digital Deluxe promo that gives you credit based on purchases on Wii U? If it does I should have enough to buy this tomorrow, and get enough credit from that to buy Azure Striker Gunvolt Friday.

it should

Absolutely floored by this pricing. I had previously stated that I would be fully willing to pay $30 for both and here it is for nearly 1/3 of that.

Great job, Nintendo!

This is basically my wildest dream come true. It's like getting Mario Kart 9 for 12 bucks.

Don't like the addition of Link - he doesn't fit like Villager and Isabelle do. And I don't particularly want MK to turn into Nintendokart. But god damn, that's nitpicking an insanely good DLC schedule.

Wow, great value there. I'll now pick up MK as what was there didn't seem enough to me as I'm not a huge racing fan. I might wait for a GOTY version though just to get all of these goodies on one disk.

THAT VALUE

I was expecting and willing to pay $30 for them combined

This is roughly one-third what I was expecting

Just WOW

The game ships with 32 tracks for $60, a great amount.
Godly Nintendo offers an additional 16 tracks (+50%) for $12 (+20%).

How can't you love them?

But there's also the Leaf cup.

And that would include another four Nintendo courses (Animal Crossing)... leaving the remaining two cups for retro tracks.

I'm just guessing here. The Nintendo and retro courses could very well be mixed together.

$12 for both is a great deal. Crazy even.

BUT...

May 2015 for Pack 2 feels like a really long wait. Unless they're gonna keep supporting it beyond Pack 2, I think they should strike earlier. Like February earlier. May 2015 is Smash Bros DLC timing.

Jesus. November for the first and 2015 for 2nd? I thought at least pack one was hitting the 27th. I find it hard to believe the community will still be willing to pay more by mid 2015.

Holy shit that price. I was ready to buy each at $15 considering they were like 1/4th of the game but daaaaamn.

Absolutely amazing approach to DLC content. Truthfully, Nintendo intelligently subsidized the hardcore DLC with the Mercedes Benz free advert DLC as well.

May I have a cookie?

Why not make it a full blown Nintendo Kart?
At this rate the next Mario Kart will include the next F-Zero as a PRO cup!

SOLD!!! Does anyone else think that there may be a new Nintendo Direct incoming? I mean with all these new announcements and leaks from the past 2 days, it seems inevitable doesn't it?

You get the eight colors for Yoshi and eight colors for Shy Guy right away. Along with the three Mercedes cars free, that's a nice gesture to ease the wait for the new tracks... somewhat. :)
