Confirmed it just let me save an entire 10 minute match, which is more than might ever me necessary.



At the results screen, you'll get a prompt to press Y, like above. Do it, hit A, then it saves the replay to SD card.

Currently there is no way to export the replays, I don't think?

However, while replaying, you CAN pause and you CAN take screenshots from any angle while paused. It's like you're watching the game live, and not a video replay.

So what's the verdict on using Miis for tournaments?

Probably won't be a verdict this early. There haven't been any tournaments, really! I imagine they are allowed right now just like custom moves are being allowed -- but I guess we'll see when the US release happens. Miis may be easier to handle the 3DS because everyone will have their own 3DS while on the Wii U there might be some trouble unless TOs mandate there be default Miis for use for the Mii Fighers.

I don't really see why they wouldn't be allowed. They have a default move set, not really any different from any other character. Tournaments could easily just have three defaults set up, not much harder than unlocking a character.

Oh, not sure if people have been talking about this at all, but speaking of Replays, I'm checking out Replay Channel right now.

Basically, you can select what match type you want to see (Fun/Glory, 1v1/Teams/FFA), choose a character that you want to see, and then it'll show you a match with those settings. It's kinda strange, heh.

That would seem like the best way to handle it, IMO. Doesn't make any sense to allow the other two weights for a Mii Fighter. I imagine default Miis on a Wii U would be medium weight anyway.

Yea, it wouldn't be too hard if they standardize it. Have a specific mii qr code every tournament downloads and you can download to practice. Give it a goofy name, make that mii a meme or something. It could work.

I'm curious about this as well. ZeRo has apparently been streaming ranked For Glory matches, but I don't ever notice some sort of numeric ranking on screen. Do you get matched against tougher players the more you win? He seems to win 95% of the time if not more.
