As someone who doesn't play much racers, this game is awesome so far. However, one thing I'm horrible at is turning/drifting. Any tips?

And then he complains how drifting isn't piss easy instead of taking the time to learn how to play the game. You couldn't really drift in Initial D iirc but there were other methods that helped you achieve similar results (like Machine Gun Shifting), learning and mastering the various techniques was part of the fun.

Will have to take his opinion with a huge grain of salt moving forward.

It does seem like this is a game for people who just want a skill based racer free of much of the cruft of 2014 console games.

Oh, so replay mode will be patched in? This is awesome. Sick of complaining but of course it's amusing that this basic feature is not in the game. :lol

So how does the PS+ Full Upgrade work? I mean, it's available and all. Can I just buy it and get the full game now (well, as long as I've got a PS+ sub)? It's a lot cheaper than buying the physical game, anyhow.

Well, server issues aside, the game is so fun to play. I find it very, very relaxing. No music, just the sound of the cars, tires, everything. It controls so well and the race is actually challenging. It looks absolutely incredible (those sunsets, holy shit) and the sound is wonderful.

This game is just so fucking awesome! My dilemma now is, when my little one goes to bed, do I continue on the wheel making a racket in the process, or use the DS4?!

Dude why don't you go be a network engineer since any company you worked for would be incapable of having issues with the network.

You'd be rich. The only network engineer that is actually able to predict workloads and bandwidth requirements!

So it's all the social connections crashing the server?

I wonder if driveclub gaf helped with that. So many people have huge friends lists now haha

I'm sitting at work and all I want to do is go back and play. I'm kinda bummed the BAC Mono is only unlocked through a club since I'm driving solo and clubs don't activate until you have more than 1 person.

Did they put the Mercedes GT on the Store yet? It was supposed to be up yesterday and the patch notes even mention it but it wasn't up. I assume it's because all of the problems with the servers but just trying to make sure. Supposed to be up for full game owners and I am.

This is the only car I was able to download yesterday. You have to select it from within the game.
