I was kind of hoping Sakurai would go crazy by this point in development and start dressing up as a videogame character, kind of like Ono as Blanka.

Sakurai interacting with a competitive player IRL, that's never gunna happen. Once smash 4 comes out on the wii u and hopefully DLC Sakurai is gunna move on to his next project.

I'm obviously not serious about The Witch from The Witch's House (I do want her in tho) but Metal Face? Yes. i don't see whats so hard to understand. He is a character. It is a basically a fact at this point. I refuse to believe a shared stage would be so dramatically different and there doesn't seem to be a boss battle mode so like Dark Pit, the only takeaway is playable character.

Now that I'm in the end grind part of Smash Brothers on 3DS (getting trophies, powers and customizations). I'm feeling kind of burned out.
I wanted to see if I could finish all the challenges and get all the trophies before Smash Wii U but having to deal with the random drop system in this game (I really should not be able to get three of the same previously unlocked custom move in one run) is making me kind of grow antagonistic.
Haven't attempted 9.0 yet. I need to practice a lot more and get use to shielding on the 3DS.
Unless I have at least a week break before Smash Wii U I'm not sure if I could even boot it up.
I'm really dreading having to reunlock characters and do all characters runs again in Classic and Multi-Man Smash.

I know how you feel. I completely stopped playing the 3DS version and I'll just wait for the Wii U version. I want to be hyped as much as possible when the real version comes out.

Why would they? He doesn't need it. Every stage that's not FD or a version of it nerfs him enough already.
Not to mention the last four Little Macs I faced in For Glory all suicided with their side B.

There is no way Metal Face is a playable characters. He'll be a boss.
I feel like that's what I'm going to have to do soon as well. As much as it would have been cool to finish everything before the Wii U version as the 3DS version is the first Smash that I have a chance to 100% I just can't keep playing at the same rate without the grind getting to me.
Going to make it a quick 20 minute play only once a day. Bayonetta 2 comes out Friday so I should probably start the first game where I pick it up.

I get that it's still a little early for this sort of discussion, but looking at this doesn't leave me with the impression that Mac needs to be nerfed in any way, shape, or form.
Poor man is bad enough as it is, doesn't need any nerfs.
Wouldn't say no to an increased range for the Jolt Haymaker though, that should make baiting it near the ledge even more fun than it already is.

Wow, even with all the nerfs, Fox is still "top tier".
In a series like this, it's pretty safe to say that as long as you're fast or control large areas of space while on the field you'll probably be good.
Edit: Fox and Marth in the top 10? (voter submissions I know but..) Someone better give Wreck It Ralph some asprin fast. :lol

Falco is the one that copped the nerfs. He can't chaingrab, his blaster was nerfed quite a bit, he still kicks his reflector and his normals got various nerfs without much compensation.

Falco is below average to average on overall speed (attacking and movement) so it still holds true.
