2013/2014

BALE GP 35 G 24 A 18
REUS GP 40 G 23 A 18

And that’s just a warning.

Because we all know goals/assists are the most team independent stats around. No confounding variables there at all. Nope.

Why don't you go look up chances created, key passes, successful takeons? You know, the stats where the only person affecting those stats is the player in question?

Oh Tc you bugger

Meant to be doing some dissertation prep and you pop up with this :p

Anglo Saxon Britain can wait.

YES MOYES. Only 6 minutes too to download, fuck, I was just about to make dinner.

Katrina:I'm still researching this, please bear with me.
Thanks for your patience, Tom. I was just double checking with my supervisor to make sure I hadn't missed anything. The beta actually doesn't have a release date, the developers think it will be approximately two weeks but it's not written in stone.
But it is on its way.

She said the Amazon keys will be sent out in the next few days, can't wait that long. Do GMG charge on shipping or when you place the order?

Yeah, weird argument here from Hasphats and Beau. Reus may well be better than Bale. He certainly isn't clearly better.

Bundesliga inferiority complex strikes again.

It's kinda crazy how Valdes willingly gave up his career at Barca and now has...well...nothing :(

:(

Miss him. I hate that he announced he was leaving in the middle of the season. Pep waited until all the competitions were done first before doing so.

Valdes' shit was a useless distraction at a random time.

He's a great gk though. Then messi slide tackled him in training right before valdes' contract expired. He's been injured since.

FM now allows for 3 extra favorite teams. Another win for multi teamers.

pandering to the lowest common denominator football "fans" (I hesitate to use that term for folks who temporarily "support" multiple super clubs)

shameful

pre order cancelled

0/10 would not play again

I'd take Bale over Reus.

I think they're similar in quality. Reus may be a more skilful player, but Bale's well on his way to being a Ronaldo lite (that isn't meant to sound derogatory, but combining his style of play with a higher level of goals and assists).

Gun to my head, I'd pick Bale, but only because I've seen him perform more often and in the league I watch more. Certainly wouldn't say there's a chasm of quality between the two.

Jokes. Reus is not even top 30. The guy has potential, that´s for sure, but he still has to prove himself in a non amateur league.

Depends on the team, I'd think Reus would suit following messi's commands more than Bale.

Manutd would probably rather have Bale.

Neygod is better than both though.

And Cristiano is better than all 3.

Then there is goat. Untouchable. His killer passes. His finishing. His dribbling. Just amazing.

I just enumerated several important offensive categories where Reus is demonstrably superior.

No one's doubting Bale's quality, but I think just the way he plays messes with how he is perceived. I admit there's no way to really quantify how much his speed or the mere threat of it is warping defences and creating chances, but in the ways where we can isolate and evaluate value added, it's like Reus was created in a lab to play the modern game. Next to Messi and Suarez, he might be the most complete attacking player on the planet right now. Perfect mix of creative and finishing abilities.

Neymar? Not yet. There's no doubt he will be though.

SAFC should look long and hard to find a 4th own goal from last week, surely we would then be due a point. Only fair.

I don't really see Bale becoming as good or better than Ronaldo.

As for who I'd take, I would go with Reus but that's a personal preference. I don't think there is much between them but I think Reus is the more skillful player while Bale has more pace.

Had absolutely no clue that Jessie Ware toured with Jack Peñate on his last album. She was a little bit thicker back then.. my pics from his show in Chicago: https://www.flickr.com/photos/abellwillring/sets/72157622332051247/. Loving her new album, think it's even better than the first and by a wide margin.

Absolutely loved Jack's album Everything Is New (first was good but less impressive) -- incredible that he hasn't put out a new release in the years since. Adele sang background vocals on that album of his too. Funny coincidence.

People are over reacting about a fucking shirt swap, guess it's easier than talking about how they were outclassed with Ronaldo and Benzema scoring FIFA 15 like goals.

Lol, indeed. I actually expected him to be as good as he is, what I didn't expect is him being as good, and if we are going by what he is doing this season so far, for so long given his age.

Also, compared to how old Bale is, I think Ronaldo was pulling better numbers.
