GTA V reveal @ IGN tomorrow 9am PT/12pm ET/5pm GMT with exclusive gameplay #1

will cop the ps4 bundle if they've fixed the engine streaming to allow realistic vehicle speeds and the cockpit cam is confirmed.

Realistic vehicle speeds? The speeds are where they're at in SP are more for scale reasons than the streaming issues. Speeds dropped overall in MP are more tied to streaming (and balance for races) though.

First time seeing this, this gif is amazing. Looking forward to what people catch now that it's easy to record with current gen systems.

You won't be able to tell anyhow with IGN's video player. I thought Gametrailer's shit was bad...

Also, YAAAY.

I was thinking about opening a thread about this but I'm too damn lazy. But I totally agree, one of the big issues of this generation is that the usual web players just don't cut it anymore when it come to show off current gen gameplay. I mean, 60 fps 1080p Youtube is neat and all, but the compression is still awful. Same with IGN and most web players around. These days if it's not on Gamersyde I just don't bother. I'm interested in any new GTAV footage, but the real questions about IQ will remain unanswered.

I'm excited because I had to stop playing the game on the PS3. I could not take the framerate and general "ugliness" of it when I knew the PS4 was right around the corner.

My hope is that the PS4 version will be the game I imagined in my head when I saw the first trailers.

Was hoping for a Newswire update at 6AM PST, exactly one week after the last post with new info :(

But hey, 3 hours till the previews arrive.

And I never understand the hate GTAO gets when, despite the lackluster missions and modes, the map editor and free roam with friends is such a blast to goof around in.

Losing over 100k in hospital bills due to messing around kind of killed the fun for me and my friends. I know they changed that ages ago, but none of us can be bothered to go back.

I might be interested in the PC version, assuming they don't screw it up this time. Saves me having to pay to play online, heh.

If sony makes a bundle out of this game. Got damn. I said got damn.

Dunno if this only Dell's own bundle, but taken from Polygon BF Deals
Dell's Black Friday deals just popped up on a couple of sites a bit early, though the deals are live yet. Dell's best gaming deals are its doorbusters. One is a PlayStation 4 bundle with Grand Theft Auto 5 and The Last of Us Remastered that they're selling for $399.99.

Awesome. I didn't know this reveal was happening until a few minutes ago.

In about 2 hours 45 minutes! Edit: or 3 hours, whatever, so HYPE

Wasn't that only in GTA 4?

Not GTA V too. Both in single player and multiplayer, you would lose a ton of money when you would die. So in MP you would grind hours to get the little amount of money you had for someone to randomly kill you and lose hours of work. Luckily that got fixed.

Sony better have a GTA V bundle for Black Friday.

I hope the delay in announcing is just because they are creating a commercial to accompany the announcement.

I can see it now.....Adam Boyes in that red swimsuit with a blond wig on, walking elegantly down the Santa Monica pier in LA, alluringly stating PS4 and GTA V at $399.

Andy House and Shuhei will wave happily in the background on a jetski with Phil Spencer attached to the rear being pulled through the ocean.

What are we expecting from this upgrade other than more density and better graphics and performance? I'm just curious.

We get new animals, new side-missions and a first person view?

New side missions is a big thing. They've only announced the new activities double dippers are getting at launch so far, so maybe today will highlight some of the things all players will get to do in the new version?

I'll wait to see gaf opinion on the video, I don't want to spoil myself with useless highly compressed real gameplay footage. We're only two weeks from the launch.

Yeah, they've tweaked a lot of stuff, but when GTAOnline debuted, Rockstar tried their damnest to make it the least fun multiplayer sandbox mode on earth. Extremely high death taxes, extremely low payments on jobs, no weapons, cars, or anything available. It was like the anti-GTA.

I wouldn't think losing 100k in medical bills would matter in the single-player. I had millions on all three characters and I never save if I'm messing around and dying a bunch.

Can see that being annoying in multiplayer for sure, but I never played much of the online.

I'm going to miss the last half of this, but will IGN load up the entire stream afterwards so I can catch up on the rest?

This game was already gorgeous on PS3, so the overhaul is going to be a real treat. Buying this again was a no-brainer.
