I dunno, it comes close. The game isn't even out yet so I find it annoying he would reveal that. Maybe he should reveal every short appearance of every character in all future games.

Where's Polygon's Far Cry 4 review?

Last week, we were sent a non-final "debug" version of the game for PlayStation 4. This build of the game did not function on our PS4 test kits, despite attempts to remedy the issue with both Ubisoft and a firmware update provided by Sony PR.

Meanwhile, several outlets received retail copies of Far Cry 4 earlier this week for both Xbox One and PS4. We did not. Regardless, we're going to buy a copy of Far Cry 4, and get a review up as soon as possible.

Really looking forward to this, already downloaded the Gold Edition on the PS4 and it's going to be a such a long wait now. :(

Yes, a neat alternate ending to the game that you can beat by literally waiting 15 minutes as you are asked in a cutscene rather than running away. Waiting triggers another cutscene where you apparently complete the main point of the game

I loved FarCry 3, but I can wait to get FC4 a few months down the road. Glad to see it's good though, I was a bit worried there for a while.

I love the map editor for single player missions. It will be fun playing with the gravity modifiers and such. The Eurogamer look showed some great stuff.

I can't believe this is still happening in 2014. What clueless designer thought that was a good idea? How many times does it need to be shouted from the rooftops? Here, I'll join the chorus: Instant failure states ruin stealth gameplay. Even pure stealth games don't use them anymore.
Go forth, designers, and sin no more.

It's not an immediate fail, only if they sound/yell the alarm.

It is. Its just a little easter egg. From what I gather,
you can do this close to the start of the game so its easy to just start over. Its just a weird alternate ending thats actually pretty nice. You have to put in actual effort for it to happen though. Normally instead of waiting a player would escape but you have to wait nearly 15 minutes as Pagan Min asks to trigger the events

I was just watching a stream and the guy was descending in one of little flying buggy things and there was hardly any pop-in. Pretty impressive.

Saw GameSpot video about it and it was actually really cool way of doing that egg :)

FC3 was ace. I gotta finish Unity and maaaaaaaaaybe push my Alt to 30 in Destiny but i'll definitely be buying this bitch up for my birthday on the 6th.

If only Sam - The Best Secondary Character Ever - could be in this game it would be even better. Can't wait.

I'm not sure what to think. The scores are good but most review are mentioning the thin story and under used villain. I like FC3 but I got bored with the repetitive objectives halfway through the game. I was hoping the story would keep me interested this time the way 3 did (mostly)
