1. Star Fox U - It's been too long. It looks like we're getting more gimmicks with Project GUARD/Giant Robot
2. Mortal Kombat X - This is looking to be the most brutal one yet! I loved 9, so I can't wait to see what they added this time around.
3. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse - Canvas Curse is one of my favorite DS Games. Claymation is one of my favorite art styles. This is the Claymation sequel to Canvas Curse; I'm already sold.
4. Mario Maker - I'm still afraid this game will disappoint in terms of what can and cannot be done, but I still can't help but be excited; I can't wait to see what people come up with!
5. Arkham Knight - I'm not as hype as I could be after Arkham Origins, but with Rocksteady finishing up the trilogy, I trust they're gonna blow us all away.
6. Splatoon - This game looks like a blast, and now that my friends are getting Wii U's, I'll actually have people to play it against!
7. Yoshi's Woolly World - Yoshi hasn't really had a stellar game since '95; there've been some fun spin-offs, some okay follow-ups, so I'm not sure if I should be having so much faith in Woolly World. Nevertheless, I'm excited for it; hopefully, it recaptures the magic the original Yoshi's Island had 20 years ago.
8. Majora's Mask 3D - I only rented it once. I picked up in the middle of someone else's save file, got confused, and returned it the next day. I plan on doing this game justice this time around.
9. Uncharted 4 - It's Uncharted; we're getting an okay game at the very least, an extraordinary game at best. I may not have a PS4 yet, but unless all of the magic's gone, this is probably gonna be one of the first exclusives I pick up.
10. Dead or Alive 5: Last Round - Dead or Alive's never been one of the best fighting game series, but it's still pretty good. I mean, I'd play it if I had it; that's worth a point, right?

Honorable Mentions:
Street Fighter V - I just assumed this fell in the "Too unknown to count" category. You really think I'd pick DoA over Street Fighter?
Kingdom Hearts III - Second verse, same as the first; honestly, I don't even think it's coming out this year, but I can dream, right?
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero - And again! Just like KHIII, knowing how much detail WayForward puts into each game and how they're about to cut-off PayPal donations, I'm not even sure if this'll be out by 2015's end.
Project S.T.E.A.M. - I'm sold on the concept, but not yet on the gameplay. I'll need to see more of it in action.
Xenoblade Chronicles X - Next year's going to be a busy one for me, so I don't know if I'll have enough time to beat this game, plus I've only played Xenoblade for about 10 minutes, so I'm not quite at "really feeling it" territory here. Still, it's something I'll probably get hype for closer to release, and will definitely pick it up when it comes out!

1. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
2. Quantum Break
3. Batman: Arkham Knight
4. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
5. Tomb Raider: Rise of the Tomb Raider
6. Bloodborne
7. The Legend of Zelda Wii U
8. Call of Duty Black Ops 3/World at War 2
9. Halo 5: Guardians
10. Forza 6

1. Uncharted 4 : This is my favorite series of all time. I'm beyond hyped!
2. Bloodborne : The next game by the director of both Demon's and Dark Souls? Take all my money.
3. Batman: Arkham Knight : Everything looks amazing so far.
4. Tearaway Unfolded : The Vita game had me smiling from start to finish. 50% new levels for the PS4 version makes this a no-brainer for me.
5. The Witness : The game is looking like a lot of fun. I'm a big fan of puzzle games!
6. The Order: 1886 : Not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for story-driven games. The gameplay doesn't look bad either, imo.
7. Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin : I loved the game and will be playing this and the DLC's on my new PC!
8. Grand Theft Auto V : Should be great playing this in 60fps on PC.
9. Until Dawn : This should be a fun game to play with friends/family all watching and making decisions on what to do.
10. RollerCoaster Tycoon World : I haven't seen much at all of this game but here's hoping that it's as addicting as the previous games! The mods should be great as well.

1. Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain
Will be the most played game if everything works out right. Base building/ingiltration/ and MGO give this game a huge lifeline.

2. Persona 5
Can't wait!

3. Batman Arkham Knight
More batman and batmobile ftw!

4. Xenoblade X

5. Bloodbourne

The rest are not in any certain order but:

6: Hyper Light Drifter
7: FFXIV ARR expansion Heavensward
8: FFXV

9: Hellraid
It's done by the dying light studio, same idea but in a much better setting that the zombies they are used too.

10. LostArk
Korean MMO Diablo slayer that would be my goty next year if it had a shred of hope of coming out, but they say it will 2015 so here's hoping.

1. the legend of zelda wii u : the latest videos have hyped me the most. it seems like their best attempt at not only reviving the feel of the nes zelda but in 3d, but the actual realization of a twenty year goal first set in motion with ocarina of time. i really hope it's as cool as it seems.

2. xenoblade chronicles x : the followup to xenoblade looks even larger and cooler than its predecessor. the sense of scale here looks tremendous. i can't wait to get in a mech and fly around wrecking shit. hopefully all the other game systems are great too.

3. splatoon : ever since playing it at e3, i can't get it out of my head. it has the same appeal that team fortress 2 does for me, where i don't necessarily need to be killing people to help get ahead. you can win by being sneaky and devious instead of locking in with the enemy in some sort of grudge match. i have no idea how the single player campaign will play though, which is my biggest concern, but i'm hoping that's cool too.

4. metal gear solid v the phantom pain : i outright skipped metal gear solid 4, and it seems that's a good thing because the phantom pain will pick up from mgs3 (sorta), where i basically last left off. i'm hoping it keeps with the tradition of the odd-numbered mgs games being rad.

5. rodea the sky soldier : this game doesn't look like it'll be super fantastic, but it's the sort of game i feel i would like.

6. htol#niq the firefly diary : pretty much just see the above. it's another game that just seems to be right up my alley, but i don't think it'll set the world on fire.

7. swords and soldiers ii : holy shit guys, the first game was so good. i can't believe we're actually getting another one. how cool is that!?

8. kirby rainbow curse : probably the most challenging 2d platformer of the year by the way things are looking. of course the only competition is yoshi it seems. well, that and mario maker.

9. mario maker : because i want to be the world's shittiest platformer developer.

10. star fox : i don't know if this will actually be any good, but i do anticipate its release and whether or not it can break the curse on the series.

6. Rime
7. Halo 5
8. Quantum Break

So far my list looks like this. There are some games I don't know its release date so I won't include them at least until I have more info about them. I'll edit the list later.

1.Splatoon: I am very interested in what Nintendo can bring to this genre.
2.The Legend of Zelda WiiU: TLOZ in HD!!!
3.Persona 5: I'll buy this game on ps3!!!
4.Xenoblade Chronicles X: One of the reasons I bought a WiiU in the first place.
5.Batman: Arkham Knight: I've played the games of the series a lot during the past few months, so I want to see the "conclusion" of the series.
6.Majora's Mask 3D: I've been waiting for this game for quite some time!
7.Halo 5: I hope 343i make something better than Halo 4... which sadly is not so difficult to achieve...
8.Mighty No. 9: I almost forgot about this game... even though I'm a backer D:

1. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End : A sequel to my favorite IP of last gen by my favorite developer? Really engrossed in its world and characters and I can't wait to see what Drake and company are up to next.
2. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain : I've been a fan of the series since 2. I still have to play through the series again (plus Portable Ops and Peace Walker as I haven't played them yet), but I'm there. MGO3 is icing on the cake.
3. The Order 1886 : Very interesting concept and the game looks phenomenal. If Ready At Dawn's previous work is anything to go by, this could be a surefire winner.
4. Batman: Arkham Knight : Rocksteady seemingly cam out of nowhere to make two of the best superhero games of all time. Judging by the previews they're looking to completely outdo themselves again.
5. Quantum Break : Always been a fan of Remedy/Sam Lake's brand of storytelling.

  1. Final Fantasy XV
  2. The Great Ace Attorney
  3. Persona 5
  4. The Legend of Zelda for Wii U
  5. Mortal Kombat X
  6. Silent Hills
  7. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
  8. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
  9. The Witness
  10. Yakuza 5

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X : A massive open world JRPG with mechs that offers an improved version of the hooking gameplay loop of exploration, questing and combat in the original Xenoblade. Featuring a map size of 5 times to that of the original, Xenoblade Chronicles X also possesses some of the strongest enemy and landscape designs in recent memory and an all-star line up of developers and designers. My most hyped game of all time. I am honored to have the opportunity to hype about this.

2. Legend of Zelda for WiiU : After some controversial design choices of skyward sword, the Zelda team aims to rectify some of the main complaints within that game and bring people a true open world Zelda. While not much info is known about this game, the obvious Mononoke influences as well as the beautiful art design lets it claim my number 2 spot.

3. Majora's Mask 3D : The only 3D Zelda that I have not yet played, I look forward to the changes they bring to one of the most unique games of all time.

4. Splatoon : A Nintendo EAD shooter. I could end it off there. Splatoon aims to be a primarily area control shooter where the amount of ink you control is central to movement options, victory conditions, and stealth. Truly a Nintendo like take on a genre. I look forward to what they can do with this new IP. I also look forward to the amount of fanart that gets people banned XD.

5. Persona 5 : How fitting that Persona 5 take my number 5 spot. While my experiences regards to Atlus games are limited to my middling reception to SMTIV, I have always enjoyed watching the persona series from afar. I love the main character design and the theme of the game. It could be higher up but I worry about the dungeons and the slow combat. I'm sure the game will have great characters. Maybe it'll be reason enough for me to get a PS4.

6. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate : I managed to get in around 30 hours of MH3U before having to sell it for Pikmin 3. While I don't regret the decision, I realize that I never really got far enough into the game to really enjoy it and look forward to rectifying my mistakes this time around. Hopefully N3DS lets me experience the game better.

7. Tales of Zestiria : While the Tales series has always been one of my favorite series, mostly due to my experiences with Symphonia and Vesperia, I understand that there are great titles and mediocre titles all the same. Zestiria seems to take some of the design decisions that made Xenoblade great and it's animated by Ufotable no less! Not as high up on the list as people may expect due to it being PS3 exclusive as well as still suffering from enemy splitting and bad area design. But dang those skits are going to be amazing.

8. Bloodborne : Lol never played Dark Souls. I will get to that after Steam patches GFWL out. Still, this game looks great. Movement is well captured in the animation and combat looking to be very challenging. Ranking subject to change once I get to playing Dark Souls.

9. Bravely Second :I'm one of the guys who really enjoyed Bravely Default, even through all of its faults. I doubt this game will be too bad.

10. Xenoblade Chronicles : Why the hell is this here? Do I really need a N3DS port? Geez. Honestly this may be here because I have no other games to list. That and it's my favorite JRPG of all time. But seriously no HD port? Oh well, I wonder if they'll add anything.

1. Bloodborne : A darker and more offense based Souls game, what's not to love? Gonna miss armors, though.
2. Arkham Knight : Arkham City was one of my top games of 2011 and can't wait to see how Rocksteady end the series.
3. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse : A strange choice so high on the list, but I really loved Canvas Curse and hope this is a worthy successor.
4. Legend of Zelda U: Can't say I'm not excited for a new Zelda. Skyward Sword didn't live up to expectations but it was still a good game.
5. Splatoon : This game looks really creative and fresh, though I'm worried how fun the main multi mode will be.
6. Metal Gear Solid V : Like with Zelda, this is a great series, even if the last game wasn't as loved as what came before it.
7. Tekken 7 : I'm mostly excited for more Tekken.
8. Devil's Third : Looks unpolished right now, but I have faith in Itagaki and co.
9. Star Fox U : Looks like this will be developed internally by Nintendo, a first in almost 20 years.
10. Persona 5 : We don't know much, but Persona!

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X :
I need another quality JRPG in my life. Xenoblade blew my expectations out of the water. I expect this to do the same.

2. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain :
I've never been disappointed in a MGS game. It seems like with this game being open world, MGS will finally realize its full potential.

3. The Legend of Zelda :
The game looks awesome and after playing A Link Between Worlds I expect this game to be just as fun. A non linear Zelda is a dream.

4. StarFox :
I want another Star Fox game. I'm Miyamoto will make it great.

5. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End :
Uncharted games are always good. I can't wait to see this on the PS4

6. Tomb Raider :
I loved the reboot and didn't stop playing it until I finished it.

6. Persona 5 :
I loved persona 4. I hope this has the same style, character development, and story that 4 did.

7. Splatoon :
A Nintendo shooter. The shooter genre has been run into the ground. I can't wait to see NIntendo's take.

1. Bloodborne : The Souls series has rapidly grown into my favorite franchise. The brutally rewarding combat, the heartbreaking deaths, the subtle, nuanced lore sprinkled throughout the world, all mixed with great RPG elements and really unique online functionality... I eagerly await Bloodborne to see what Miyazaki and Team A can unleash upon my soul next.

2. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End : So I love Uncharted. Like.. A lot. Naughty Dog always outdo themselves in any title they create. Massive attention to detail, superb gameplay mechanics, and incredibly realized characters have pulled me into their games before and UC4 looks to be no different. After last weekend's PSX expo examining their design process, I am so ready to experience this!

3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt : This needs no explanation. The Witcher 3 seeks to be the greatest open-world RPG ever crafted. If anyone can pull it off, CD Projekt Red can do it. The first two entries in the series cemented their place in my heart of hearts as fantastic, unforgettable experiences. The combat, rich world-building, and gorgeous visuals always immerse me to no end.

4. The Legend of Zelda Wii U : Zelda, how I long for thee. Seriously... In my top three favorite franchises, I love each and every Zelda title I come across. There's just something deeply satisfying and comfortable about experiencing new Zelda titles, and this one looks to be no different. The gameplay reveal at last E3 sealed the deal for me. Open world Zelda?! Uh... Yes. I trust in Aonuma!

5. No Man's Sky : After first seeing this revealed at the VGA's last year, I immediately knew I wanted to play it. Experience it. Get lost in it. It's a game that I *really* hope delivers on all it aims to do... Sean Murray and Hello Games have really amped up my curiosity and imagination for what this game is capable of and I am super excited to find out!

6. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain : The gameplay reveals of this game so far look positively stunning. Kojima and co. have created a masterpiece, if what we've seen so far is any indication. I am a relative newcomer to the series, but mother of god does this look like so much fun to play! The level of polish and love poured into this game is quite evident.

7. Star Fox Wii U : I've loved Star Fox ever since I played the first one when I was a kid. And Star Fox 64 ensured I would never forget. So when Miyamoto revealed to the world during last E3 that he was working on the newest entry, I was like a kid on Christmas. So positively happy that this is in development!

8. Halo 5 Guardians : Halo gonna Halo, especially if 343i is involved. But fuck, I'm in. Would like to see more than a brief teaser trailer, but the MP footage that was revealed looks really solid! Played since Halo 1 on the OG Xbox so I've got lots of time and effort invested in the franchise. Praying that the new entry will be up to snuff and everything we want it to be.

9. Xenoblade Chronicles X : From the trailers I've seen, this looks right up my alley. JRPG? Check. Big ass mecha to fight in? Check. Huge enemies on a really alien world? Check. I mean... What more do you need? I played Xenoblade Chronicles quite a bit, though need to go back and finish it.

10. Batman: Arkham Knight : The Arkham series is always an absolute blast to play. That combat is just so damn rewarding. And I love any story related to Batman to begin with, so it's just like... Yes please may I have some more. :)

Honorable mentions: Rime, Hyperlight Drifter, Silent Hills, Persona 5, Mario Maker, Quantum Break... I love a lot of games. A list of 10 is torture for me. >_<

2) Serpent in the Staglands: Another old school PC RPG reminiscent of Darklands.

I'm curious - why did you list Pillars of Eternity but not Torment?
It's also a an old school PC RPG, and it even shares some devs with Pillars.
I can't really imagine why someone would want to play one but not the other.

Edit: My mistake. They only share Chris Avellone. But that's good enough!

1) No Man's Sky :
Duuuuuuuuuude, baby Star Citizen! The game's aesthetic is lovely and the gameplay information gives way to what I think will be a great experience.

2) Rainbow Six Siege :
Looks like Rainbow Six will finally get back on its feet after over a decade of being out of its own body.

3) Killing Floor 2 :
Tripwire is really awesome.

4) Star Wars Battlefront 3 :
I'm giving DICE a shot with this one, even after BF3. Very little known about it, but I'm super excited to see what comes of it, even from a pretty sketchy dev these days.

5) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt :
I'm a fan of The Witcher 2 and the third looks to impress me quite a bit.

6) Uncharted 4 :
I'm really looking forward to see what Naughty Dog has done to improve upon it's awful/sluggish gunplay. I'm also interested in a goddamn good adventure! Should be a great game!

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X:
I can not wait for this game, it better release next year.

2. The Legend of Zelda for Wii U:
I loved Skyward Sword & Twilight Princess so I think I'll love this one too.

3. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D:
My favorite Zelda, i'm so glad this is actually a thing and it's coming so soon!

4. Splatoon:
Seems like a cool new franchise, I hope it turns out well.

5. Yoshi's Woolly World:
Seems like the Yoshi's Story sequel I've been waiting for.

6. Devil's Third:
I would like to see a little more on this game before I commit but it's on my radar.

7. Star Fox for Wii U:
I've only played some of Star Fox 64 but i'm willing to give this game a try.

8. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse:

9. Mario Maker:
I don't really want to make my own levels but i'm sure I'll find some fun in this game.

*Bonus game. Pokemon Z/X2/Y2:
There's obviously a Pokemon coming next year, they just need to announce it. I really looking forward to this game because X/Y was great but it desperately needed some postgame content.

I would say Mirrors Edge 2 and Mass Effect 4 but I don't think those are confirmed for 2015. :(

They may share Avellone, (which is a huge plus imo), but let's not forget they have George Ziets. Everyone who liked Mask of the Betrayer should be excited.

1. METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN
MGSV-The-Phantom-Pain-TGS-2014-Screen-Quiet-Enters-Mother-Base-7.jpg

An open world game backed by Hideo Kojima's attention to detail, The Phantom Pain looks to take this historic franchise to new heights.

Gameplay (features):
Metal Gear Solid V is an open world stealth game that allows players to tackle missions in an almost endless variety of ways. Once upon a time, Hideo Kojima envisioned a game in which, rather than the player being dropped into an enemy fortress for infiltration, they instead had to travel (up to) hundreds of miles to that fortress by planning how they got there, the weapons and equipment they would bring along, how they would escape enemy territory - and when they would do it. This is the realization of that dream. The day-and-night cycle gives players the opportunity to choose when they tackle the missions they are assigned. It may be in your best interest, for example, to sneak into an enemy compound during the day when (in certain situations) an area is less secure albeit easier to get spotted. Then again, you may determine that your best chance is using the lack of light to your advantage, as enemies (though larger in number at night, in some cases) have a harder time spotting you. It's up to you to decide the best COA. The same thing could be said about the game's dynamic weather system, which could benefit or hurt the players, depending on the other various factors at play. For instance, in a sandstorm, it may be more difficult for enemies to spot you, however, it may also be harder for you to spot them. These are just two of the many examples of "unparalleled strategic freedom" offered by The Phantom Pain.

Gameplay (mechanics):
Players who have played Ground Zeroes are probably familiar with how streamlined and fluid the game's controls are. Even this has been improved upon in The Phantom Pain, thanks (in part) to the feedback of those players. The animations are some of the best in gaming, as even Madden could learn a thing or two from the way Snake sprints on the battlefield. The act of turning a run into a crawl (and vice versa) is as fluid as it gets. But enough about that! Let's talk about Mother Base. Mother Base plays a vital role in how successful you are in The Phantom Pain. Building up your GMP (in-game currency), collecting resources, and recruiting soldiers (via the game's Fulton Recovery System) in the field will lead to creating a stronger Mother Base. Why is this important? Mother Base serves as the game's "hub world." It will be where players can research weapons, equipment, clothing (such as fatigues and sneaking suits), vehicles, and much more, as well as customizing these tools and the base they are all researched on. Not only that, players can train with soldiers recruited into Diamond Dogs, Snake's new unit, increasing the attributes and abilities of Snake as well as that of the soldier. Unique characters (such as Quiet) can also be interacted with at Mother Base, and players can develop their relationship with these characters leading to better on-field chemistry (new strategies open up with greater cohesion between characters) and deeper storylines, which are expanded upon based on your actions. Though we have yet to see how deep the customization of Mother Base is, we can get a pretty good idea of it by comparing and contrasting the Mother Bases (or rather, forward operating bases) shown at E3 and Gamescom 2014. Enemies, whether it be the game's AI or opposing human players, will look for every opportunity they can to attack your base and raid your supplies. It is important that you make constant upgrades and improvements to your base's size and security. (Purchasing weapons such as turrets, Cypher-like aerial vehicles, gun cameras and the like will help in fortify your defenses.) Mother Base isn't just a place for players to invade each others fortress, but also a place for friends to come together and visit!

Story (setting):
Hideo Kojima is looking to deliver a cinematic experience that has never been achieved in gaming. Metal Gear Solid V, rather than taking a movie-like approach as past games in the series have, has been compared more to a television series with Kojima stating "Each episode breaks down into a non-linear mission that eventually come together to complete the story we've designed." The game's story begins in 1984, nine years after the events of Ground Zeroes. Snake, comatose for nine years, wakes up in a hospital and is rescued from attack by an old friend, Ocelot, who then sends Snake on a solo mission into the Soviet-controlled outposts of Afghanistan to search for and rescue his second-in-command, Kazuhira Miller. How it unfolds from that point on remains to be seen, but I can promise you this: I will certainly be getting the Michael Jackson popcorn GIFs ready for The Phantom Pain's release.

Story (acting):
Snake is brought to life by Kiefer Sutherland, who provides his facial and vocal performance for the character. Robin Atkin Downes returns as Kazuhira Miller, while Troy Baker and Stefanie Joosten join the cast as Ocelot and Quiet, respectively. For an idea of how life-like the acting is, I recommend watching this video: Quiet But Not Silent - METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN (ESRB)
(The lips smacking, though!!!!)

Fox Engine:
The Fox Engine provides Metal Gear Solid V with a photorealistic visual style, unmatched by many games. The PlayStation 4 version of The Phantom Pain will run at 1080p, 60fps while the Xbox One version will run at (likely, but unconfirmed) 720p, 60fps. 60fps in an open world console game! What a time to be alive. Visuals aren't the only area in which the Fox Engine shines. The AI, powered by the Fox Engine, adapts to player actions. For example, if you play a mission predominantly using headshots, the AI will counter this by wearing helmets on your next attempt. Not only will the enemy gear change based on your play style, but their patrols will as well! Enemies will be given new routes based on how you play and the path you take, keeping the game fresh (and challenging) for a long time to come.

Metal Gear Online (3):
Revealed at The Game Awards (2014), Metal Gear Online looks to mesh classic MGO with the new gameplay mechanics of Metal Gear Solid V. The one thing that concerned me going into the reveal was whether or not the third iteration of Metal Gear Online would retain the charm that the online multiplayer had always provided. That concern has been addressed thanks to the plush D.D. that acts in a similar manner to how "Books" have in the past. Thanks to the support of Kojima Productions Los Angeles, a branch of Kojima Productions dedicated to this online versus multiplayer, and the hardcore fan base, I have no doubt that Metal Gear Online will be around for the long-run. As a bit of a sidebar, it should be noted that Metal Gear Online will be packaged with Metal Gear Solid V and will launch at the game's release. [Metal Gear Online is the versus multiplayer, though packaged with MGSV, separate from the main game. Metal Gear Solid V's base invasions (as well as other unconfirmed multiplayer options) are multiplayer components that tie into the experience of the main game.]

Too long, didn't read:
Please be excited.

2. Persona 5
2677208-vlcsnap-2014-09-01-18h18m05s15.png

Admittedly, I'm a bit of a newcomer to Persona (and SMT). Though I had watched a friend play Persona 3 and Persona 4 when they initially released, I was completely oblivious as to how great these games actually are. Persona 4 Golden was the first Persona title I played to completion and I have since fallen in love with the franchise. The characters, stories, musical score and art direction that the series has to offer is like that of no other. Persona 5, though second on my list, will undoubtedly be a masterful game.

1. Uncharted 4:
So glad the series get a chance on the PS4, the gameplay and level design looked better than ever before. Naughty Dog never disappoint.

2. Final Fantasy XV:
The series took quite a turn for worse with each iteration of Final Fantasy XIII but the footage so far has looked incredible and I'm extremely excited for those open world monster encounters.

3. Grim Fandango Remastered:
What can I say, I'm a Tim Schafer guy...Grim Fandango was another example of excellent storytelling, day 1 purchase.

4. No Man's Sky:
Ever since the debut showing over a year ago, this has been my most anticipated new ip, looks like the ultimate space exploration game.

Will update later with rest

1. Batman: Arkham Knight (PC/PS4/XB1) : Absolutely love both Batman and the franchise, two of my favorite games of all time. But we know he'll win, because he's THE GODDAMN BATMAN.
2. Star Wars: Battlefront (PC/PS4/XB1) : The first two games are some of the best shooters out there, here's hoping 64v64 is the minimum.
3. Ratchet & Clank (PS4) : Grew up on the series, after the great return to form in "Into the Nexus", I have big hopes for the redux.
4. Zelda U (Wii U) : While I have some concerns about world density, I trust Miyamoto will take care of that in time, so bring on the grappling hook!
5. Bloodborne (PS4) : Big fan of Dark Souls for the atmosphere, so a game that seems to be focused around the atmosphere rather than the "difficulty" gets me excited.
6. Evolve (PC/PS4/XB1) : HUGE Left 4 Dead fan, combined might of over 600 hours. There's a reason it's in my username.
7. Until Dawn (PS4) : Even though I'm guessing this will be a Telltale-style copycat and probably fairly short, it looks to really capture the atmosphere of cheesy slasher movies, which I enjoy.
8. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4) : I've enjoyed the series, and the gameplay is only looking to improve, going off the PSX demo.
9. LoZ Majora's Mask 3D (3DS) : Big LoZ fan, but due to the budgetary constraints of being under 18, I was never able to get any Nintendo systems outside a Gameboy, so I'm excited to fill one of the gaps in the series.
10. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PC/PS4/XB1) : While I've only played Witcher 1 so far, the amount of praise 2 gets and the trailers for 3 have admittedly got me pretty excited regardless of the fact I probably won't play it for years.

Honorable Mentions: Below, Silent Hills, No Man's Sky, Just Cause 3, The Order 1886, Godzilla, Crackdown 3, Mad Max, Persona 5, Star Fox

7. Xenoblade New 3DS - I can only find time to play Xenoblade on the go, so 3DS version for me, to discover what I missed

8. Mario Kart next DLC - hopefully with an updated battle mode

9. Yoshi Wii U - my other 2015 family game

10. Uncharted - I'm a bit tired of the franchise after U3 and the Vita episode, but U2 was my favorite PS3 game, and this could make me want to buy a PS4

My picks (being simple as not to bloat the thread more ) :

1 . Bloodborne

2. Witcher 3

3. Batman : Arkham Knight

4. Final Fantasy XV demo (hoping for the 2015 release)

5. Resident Evil Revelation 2

6. Persona 5

7. Final Fantasy Type 0

8. The Order : 1886

Looking like a great year .

9. Resident Evil Revelations 2
10. Resident Evil Remaster

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X : Colossally enjoyed the first game. Enjoyed its world and cast, and I was completely immersed from start to finish. It's one of those games that is full of "filler", but I still wished there was more of it. This sequel is going to change quite a few things up it seems, but I can't wait to see exactly what.

2. Mighty No. 9 : I'm hoping this will be my 2015 equivalent of Shovel Knight. A masterclass in a type of game that is often copied, but rarely works as well as it should. Mechanically it looks like they have all their hook and flow of the game down, and I'm already way into the game's score. This could have easily taken my top spot if I made my list some other time throughout the day. They are just that close.

3. Dai Gyakuten Saiban : Can't get enough of this series, and this setting change may bring about quite a bit of potential. We already caught a glimpse of what an "old timey" setting would function like in the Professor Layton crossover, so I hope they thought of enough cool ideas to fully utilise it. Localisation chances of this one is going to be quite low though, so this will be a sub-optimal release of this game for me, but I'm still pumped.

4. Yoshi's Wooly World

5. Yakuza 5

6. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

7. Bravely Second

8. Persona 5

9. Ori and the Blind Forest

10. The Legend of Zelda (Wii U)

Adding Zelda on my list feels a bit lame, since I don't really know anything about it other than some elements that I do not care for. That said, I usually like these games, and I trust that this won't be any different.

1) Persona 5 : I'm really excited to see what persona team will do with mainline persona, especially after seeing how Catherine looks. It's going to be awesome.

2) Xenoblade X : Hard to believe a successor to Xenoblade is coming so soon. And consdering how ridiculously massive Xenoblade was, I'm excited to see how new mech mechanics introduces in X will be played. Do we get to go to space??

3) Mass Effect 4 : There's a really slim chance this game won't slip to 2016, here's hoping. DA:I is ME2's Bioware return to form. Hope it'll reach ME1 heights again.

4) The Witcher 3 : Twice already the game was delayed. Hope 2015 is a lock.

5) Dying Light : Far Cry featuring zombies without Ubisoft bullshit designs (hopefully!!) from a developer that did Borderlands featuring zombies. Hope it delivers.

6) Uncharted 4 : Excited to see what ND does to drive the genre forward.

7) Zelda U : Open world Zelda!!!

8) Bloodborne : Love the more frantic gameplay Souls.

9) Until Dawn : B-movie slasher horror goodness with Heavy Rain gameplay. Fuck yes I'm in!!

10) Code Name S.T.E.A.M. : Intelligent System own take on Valkyria Chronicles gameplay. Online components really sealed this as day 1 purchase for me.

1. Just Cause 3 :
Just Cause 2 remains one of my favorite, most-played games from last gen. Its fast, action-packed gameplay had me hooked the moment I started playing it. The methods that you could use to travel were amazing - I loved using the grappling hook to get from place to place, and now, they've added in a wing suit. The possibilities will be endless.

2. Uncharted 4 - A Thief's End :
Uncharted 2 was also one of my favorite games from last gen. My friends and I would play the multi-player for hours upon hours, and rarely got tired of it. The campaign also had insane attention to detail, and some great set pieces that made the gameplay much more interesting. I'm interested in seeing what else they can do with this series.

3. Batman Arkham Knight :
I loved all of the Arkham games, with the exception of Origins. Rocksteady has an amazing formula down for these games, and it looks like they're enhancing it for this sequel.

4. Metal Gear Solid V - Phantom Pain :
Open world Metal Gear gameplay? I'm sold. Also, Metal Gear Online looks fantastic.
