NeoGAF Votes: Most Anticipated 2015 Game (voting ends January 1st, 11:59 PM EST)

KingSnake

The Birthday Skeleton
1. Splatoon: since the reveal at E3 I liked the so idea so much that it became my most anticipated game. I got to play the demo at Gamescom and that solidify my option. The design, the idea, the gameplay is top notch. After the single player trailer it feels that this will be a very complete and fun experience. Can't come soon enough.
2. Xenoblade Chronicles X: can't wait for this JRPG. 5 times the scale and having the experience of Xenoblade and seeing the E3 Treehouse footage of this put it as my second most wanted game for next year.
3. Zelda U: I like Zelda games, I like what I saw until now, I liked WW and TP, so everything is perfect for me. On top of that, my girlfriend adores playing Zelda and she liked the trailer so much.
4. The Witcher 3: even delayed, every about this game looks so good. I practically upgraded my PC waiting for this.
5. Affordable Space Adventure: this went a little low profile, but it is my most wanted indie game for 2015. I like the idea of driving a space ship using a complex driving panel and solving puzzles based on the way you handle that driving panel.
6.Project CARS: as I missed the crowdfunding, I could only assist in discussions and videos of others playing the early version. I like the way this is shaping up.
6. Yoshi's Woolly World: seems to be maybe the most crafted 2d platformer to hit Wii U. It looks gorgeous and all the little details and the mechanic makes it for me to be the platformer I want to play in 2015.
7. Batman Arkham Knight: I'm hyped about it, but I don't now exactly why. I can't wait to see how it looks and runs on my PC. Must be the batmobile.
8. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse: clay and smiles.

Honorable mention: No Man's Sky. But I still have my doubts about it. Too much talking and less showing. Too ambitious and vague at the same time. Plus I don't know when they can release the PC version. But I still have my eyes on it.

1. Metal Gear Solid V - Metal Gear is one of my all time favourite game series so this is a no brainer.

2. No Man's Sky- So ambitious for a 10 dev team but i'm really looking forward to it.

3. Witcher 3- Loved Witcher 2 and can't wait to upgrade my PC for it.

4. Bloodborne - Haven't played Dark or Demon souls so i'm looking forward to try this out.

5. Zelda U- Looked amazing. Will buy a Wii U for it.

6. Uncharted 4- Haven't played any Uncharted so i'm hoping we might get a UC collection before UC.

7. Rime- Looks better every time i see it.

8. Quantum Break- Not sure if it's just another shooter but it has me interested.

9. Batman: Arkham Knight- Loved Asylum and City so i'm looking forward to Rocksteadys new game.

10. The Order- Gets a lot of hate but i'm looking forward to it. Similiar to QB i'm not sure if it's just another shooter.

1. Yoshi's Woolly World; finally a new console-platformer for Yoshi. It played marvelous on Gamescom and I look forward to both, playing through it on my own and playing through it with my fiancée
2. The Legend of Zelda U; I'm still very sceptical with regard to the overworld - it seems barren and uninteresting to me. However, my favourite Zelda ever, Skyward Sword, left a very bad impression in its preview footage on me, and up until now, only three Zeldas really were weak from my perspective: Wind Waker, Zelda 1 and especially Zelda 2. So chances are very high this will be one awesome game.
3. Rodea the Sky Knight; Ivy the Kiwi is one of my favourite "secret gems" of last gen and Yuji Naka has done great work on Sonic and NiGHTS in the past, so I'm confident it will be one great game. Give it to me!
4. Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei; As a huge Fire Emblem fan, I'm of course looking forward to the next installment in that series. I don't care for Shin Megami Tensei much, but as long as the gameplay is typical FE fair, I don't care, what they do to the story
5. Mario Maker; A level editor for some of the finest platformers ever created. Considering I also have a friend who is very interested in designing levels, I'll probably have a blast with that game.
6. Kirby and the Rainbow Course; Kirby Power Paintbrush was the best Kirby game ever made, so naturally, I'm eager to play the next installment in that subseries. It already played really well at Gamescom, so I have no doubts here.
7. Batman Arkham Knight; Before Gamecom, I was sceptical of the focus on the Batmobile, but the demo really convinved me, Batman Arkham Knight has a good chance of ending up being the best Batman yet.
8. Star Fox; Lylat Wars was a fantastic game and Miyamoto almost always succeeds in what he wants to develop, so I think Star Fox has a nice chance of being a fantastic space shooter.
9. Assassin's Creed Victory; Unity is my favourite Assassin's Creed and Ubisoft Quebec has my trust thanks to PoP Forgotten Sands on Wii.
10. Zelda Majora's Mask 3D; I'm still somehwat optimistic, that we will get some relevant new playable content in it, so I'm looking forward to it. Also, it's my second favourite Zelda game ever in portable form and most likely finally with a stable framerate.

I'm kind of pissed about Catherine. A lot of people sing its praises, but the idea that it's the only official 7th gen game by the Persona team bothers me a lot. Last gen - we didn't get a single RPG from Atlus, which is so weird considering the mammoth support the PS2 got. Even the 3DS is getting some decent titles from Atlus, with SMTIV being one of the best handheld RPGs of all time. However, I can't wait for Persona 5 - rumored to run on an engine designed from the ground up, and nods towards a darker tone than Persona 4's. There are still many questions to be answered, but one thing's for sure, it's one of my most anticipated games.
If you have a 3DS, it sounds like you owe it to yourself to check out Atlus' 7th gen output.

You might as well wait for Devil Survivor 2's 3DS port, but special shout for Strange Journey and Etrian Odyssey 3.

1) Persona 5 : Ever since I first played P4G I fell in love with this franchise. Persona 3+4 hve cemented their place as some of my favorite games of all time, so needles to say I absolutely can not wait for the fifth entry.
2) Xenoblade Chronicles X : Yea, I know I'm kinda betraying my avatar listing that only as number 2, but it's similar as with Persona. I absolutely loved Xenoblade, and almost everything I've seen from its spiritual successor looks amazing and right up my alley.
3) Bloodborne : Huge souls fan here, and since this is basically Dark Souls 3 in disguise, I am really eager to get my hands on this game. This will probably the reason I purchase a PS4 earlier than I would otherwise have.
4) Zelda Wii U : It's a new Zelda title, what can i say. No entry (except MM) has disappointed me yet, so obviously I'm really excited for this one. Also, I find the artstyle to be beautiful.
5) Ratchet Redux (this is planned to release in 2015 right?) : R&C is one of my favorite franchises, this just isn't higher on this list because we haven't seen anything yet. I hope we get some news soon.
6) Batman: Arkham Knight : Really enjoyed what I played of Arkham City and this game is shaping up to be really great. Excited to be the goddamn Batman (now with Batmobile) again.
7) Uncharted 4: A Thief's End : Watching the PSX demo has made me realize that Uncharted SPs probably aren't for me anymore. Despite shiny new graphics I was bored to tears watching that. so I am only listing this one for the potential MP, because I love Uncharted MP.

1. Zelda Wii U : I'm a little worried by the whole open world thing, but I hope a good portion of the game will be more linear. And the art style is fantastic!
2. Captain Toad Treasure Tracker : Yay for Jan 2nd!
3. The Witness : I love puzzle games, and the approach to teaching the rules is very cool. If only Blow would announce a release date... It was scheduled for 2014, but I'm going to assume it will be next year.
4. Splatoon : I hope this will be fantastic. Playing at gamescom was awesome.
5. Majora's Mask 3D : Remake of GOTF
6. Yoshi's Wooly World
7. Silent Hills
8. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
9. Xenoblade Chronicles X : This would be higher on my list if the music team was the same as in Xenoblade for Wii. Also not into mechs.
10. Mario Maker

1. Bloodborne: Trust the Miyazaki touch. While I enjoyed my time with the last From Soft game DS2 I always had the feeling that something was missing. Ever since BB was announced I realized what that something was. The gothic setting, grotesque creature, design and faster gameplay has me itching to sink hundreds of hours into From's next masterpiece.

2. Uncharted 4: This is a series I never played but the gameplay demo at PSX blew my mind. The verticality and freedom in the gameplay has me hyped. Now Im just hoping Sony releases a remaster for PS4 or puts the games on PSNow.

3. The Order 1886: Im glad this game is getting some love now after PSX. The cinematic tone theyre going for has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way but that doesnt mean it wont be a great experience. So far what theyve shown seems right up my alley. Solid gunplay, interesting world/story, and face melting graphics.

4. Zelda Wii U: Its been a loong looooong time since ive played through a Zelda game. Right before this comes out Im going to buy a WiiU and marathon. Game looks to be shaping up nicely.

5. The Tomorrow Children: Im usually not one for the whole mine stuff-build stuff gameplay formula, however, the twist TWC puts on it makes this game much more interesting for me and it seems like something ill sink a lot of time into.

6. MGS5: Didnt play 4 so Im gonna need to hop on that overly long exposition train before jumping into this one and taking selfies with Ocelot.

7. Rime: Trico has forsaken us, but Rime welcomes me with open arms. Will buy.

8. Arkham Knight: Loved City, no doubt ill enjoy this one as well. Plus Batmobile!

9. The Witcher 3: Hoping everything gets sorted for this game and it can release it a good state. Im still trying to get the urge to jump back in and finish 2 but the gameplay always pushes me away(thanks Dark Souls).

10. Yakuza: My friend wont let me borrow his damn PS3 but if I somehow get my hands on one I will be playing this.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles X: Monolith Soft is my favorite RPG developer and this game is looking to give me stuff I've always wanted. First a wide open world with a lot to explore and do. Real-time combat and the ability to board mechs in real-time giving a tremendous sense of scale to both battles and exploration.

2. Zelda Wii U: I fell like this can let me down in several ways. Regardless even a bad Zelda game can be amazing. Skyward Sword had a lot of issues yet I loved the story and characters. What has been shown so far is what I want out of Zelda. I also want lots of NPC'S, side quests and dungeons. Get those and it'll be fighting with Xenoblade for game of the year.

3. Splatoon: I love the look and sounds of this game and the gameplay I've seen so far. The single-player campaign looks like a lot of fun. Hoping for 4-player local-multiplayer and a Squid Girl crossover.

4. Devil's Third: I'm don't play online multiplayer but this could be the game to change that. Something ridiculous full of hack and slash action in addition to shooting is something I want to put time into. Unfortunately I'm afraid for if there will be a userbase to support all the modes. Here’s hoping Nintendo makes the multiplayer free-to-play.
Also the story mode looks video great in a b-movie bloody way with stupidity mixed with serious themes of terrorism and child casualties.

5. Majora's Mask 3DS: Seems like a Zelda game I would love with the focus on NPC'S. Put off playing it for the eventual 3DS remake.

6. Codename S.T.E.A.M.: Not a fan of SRPG's but the story looks crazy in a good way.

7. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse: Looks great and uses the Gamepad.

8. Mario Maker: Could be amazing with the right community features.

9. Star Fox Wii U: I like shooting stuff in space. Hoping for online and 4-player split-screen dogfighting.

10. Yoshi's Wooly World: Looks nice.

Really can't wait to see how good Ratchet and Clank looks. Also excited to see what Persona 5 finally is, I love the previous titles.
The MGS series is one of my all time favourites so really hopeful for V. Witcher and Uncharted are hopefully as good as their previous titles, (more of Uncharted 2 than 3 please). I'm unsure about Bloodborne, but I'm really excited for it at the same time. Same applies to Evolve. Xenoblade and Zelda is the icing on the cake. 2015 hype!!

1 Bloodborne: I have a lot of trouble imagining a scenario in which this doesn't end up being game of the year.
2 Zelda U: It's Zelda.
3 No Man's Sky: I hope an overreliance on map markers doesn't make this feel a bit like an open world Ubisoft game. Otherwise looks fantastic.
4 The Witness: Looks great and Braid was excellent.
5 Ghost Song: Love me some hardcore metroidvania.
6 Ori: See above, minus the hardcore.
7 Hyper Light Drifter: Yeah that 30 fps 'reveal' didn't do it any favors. Still hyped.
8 Pillars of Eternity: The beta wasn't awesome acording to most but I'm sure the full game will be at least 'good'.
9 A Hat in Time: Colorful and interesting looking gameplay.
10 Rime: Skeptical but hopeful about this.

1. No Mans Sky: I hope there's a game behind the visual splendour but even so, just the concept and the music will be enough to transport me into another realm!

2. Zelda: I'm still waiting for a Zelda title to wow me like Ocarina of Time did. Maybe it will never happen but the latest title stands the best chance in doing so after OoT

3. Uncharted 4: downgrade aside, I have high hopes for this

4. Halo 5: I'm a Halo fiend and whilst 343's blunders leave a sour taste, I remain hopeful! Maybe 343 can do justice to the amazing lore enhanced incredibly well by Greg Bear and his 3 books

5. MGS: TPP: This HAS to be on everyone's list.

6. Quantum Break: Remedy. N'uff said

7. The Order: 1886: Cautiously optimistic about this. Visuals are best in class but the gameplay might be iffy. Some of the QTE stuff really is quite annoying but the other gameplay looks solid as heck

8. Rainbow Six: Siege: Back to its roots plus some next-gen physics goodness. I've been dying for a more tactical squad based MP shooter. This has potential, even if its Ubisoft at the helm

9. Splatoon: This game just looks like so much fun. It reminds me of the Dreamcast days of old for some reason and I can't wait to get it. If only all my other mates had a Wii U though :(

10. Mortal Kombat X: MK9 was amazing and the story mode was genius. That's how ALL fighters should do their story modes. MKX looks amazing and I was thoroughly impressed with my hands-on with the game. Can' t wait!

I don't think too far ahead...

1. Dying Light : Dead Island was in my top 5 games last gen, I'm hoping this can top it.

2. Chaos Reborn : I Kickstarted this remake of my favourite childhood game, the prototype has been ace, still to get stuck into the steam version.

3. The Witcher 3 : Can't get enough of open world western RPGs, I'm hoping it's not the trainwreck it's rumoured to be.

1. The Division - Please Ubisoft don't f**k this up! Coop, MMO shooter in a somewhat realistic setting: Whats not to like.
2. Uncharted 4 - Loved every Uncharted yet. Contrary to popular believe I think U3 was a great great game.
3. Star Citizen - Yeah right....not gonna happen but one can dream of endless space fights.
4. No Mans Sky - Maybe even better, maybe even worse. I don't know yet and for me it will depend on how connected the game is to other players. I fear it will be empty and lonely.
-----------------------------Now the list gets tougher as I am holding out for more info on these-----
5. The Order - Really like the style and hope the gameplay can keep up.
6. Rime - Again like the style and peace of the game and I hope the gmaeplay is interesting.
7. H1Z1 - For me the most promising Zombie game. I want player build and controlled worlds!
8. The Legend of Zelda - Should I really buy a Wii U?
9. Battleborn - Team based shooter: I am in. But will it be good?
10 . Planetside 2 on PS4 - Played it a lot on PC maybe PS4 can get me in once more.

1. Bloodborne : far and away my most anticipated game even though I'll have to invest in a PS4 to play it. Adore the Souls series and I like the new setting as I'm tired of Medieval based locations now.
2. Yakuza 5 : I'm so glad its getting a localisation so I can finally play it. Love the series.
3. Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain : Another one where I love the series and am looking forward to it even though I worry about open world diluting what I love about Metal Gear.
4. Street Fighter V : I'm ready for a new Street Fighter rather then an expansion.
5. Just Cause 3 : Hoping for more grappling hook fun
6. Batman Arkham Knight : I've liked all the Batman games so I should like this to some degree. As long as open world bloat doesn't ruin it I should enjoy it.
7. Saints Row Gat out of Hell -:Seems like it'll be a laugh.
8. Mortal Kombat X : Purely for the single player if its like 9.

That's all I can think of that I know enough about at this time to say I'm anticipating them. I hope more new IPs force themselves into my reckoning as that's a sequel heavy list.

1 : The Legend of Zelda Wii U
It's a new Zelda afterall and the scope of the game looks huge. Finally a 3D Zelda that seems to be more like the original.

2 : Xenoblade Chronicles X
Wii Xenoblade is one of the best rpgs I've played so more of that and even bigger and better sounds just so good.

3 : Yoshi's Woolly World
My fiancee wants that game and it looks great otherwise as well.

4 : Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
Ok, I don't even know what Shim Megami Tensei is, but if the game is like Fire Emblem but mixed with that other series, I'm all in.

5 : Star Fox Wii U
Star Fox series has been a hit or miss, but I enjoyed Star Fox Assault quite a bit. If this is more like Star Fox SNES and Star Fox 64, even better of course.

6 : Splatoon
A shooter by Nintendo? Will surely be something new to the genre, so it makes me interested in this game.

7 : Mario Maker
Make your own Mario levels? Well in my case, to play other people's Mario levels sounds like tons of fun. If the game has full length levels, I'm in.

8 : Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Although I kind of hate Toad, the game mechanics in this game sound very good. I really like puzzle games.

9 : SteamWorld Heist
Although I haven't even played the SteaWorld Dig yet, that game looks really good and I also really liked what Isaw of this game, so keeping an eye for this one.

10 : Devil's Third
I'm not into pure action games really, but I got The Wonderful 101 and both Bayonettas, so if this game is good, I might pick it up eventually.

Code-Name-STEAM-Footage_06-12-14.jpg

As a huge fan of turnbased strategy and as someone who has loved the Fire Emblem Series from the very same developer who is making this game I can't wait to get to play this. Codename S.T.E.A.M. is my most anticipated game of 2015.

2. Splatoon:

Splatoon_610.jpg

I just like the whole idea of this game. It's so fresh and exciting.

3. Firewatch:

station-610.jpg

Lots of people who previously worked for big name studios came together and made an Adventure / Exploration(?) game. Has me intrigued as a fan of Exploration / Narrative-driven games.

4. Xenoblade Chronicles:

272461-full.jpeg

I mean, who owns a Wii U and isn't hyped for this game. It has huge robots and dinosaurs. Awesomesauce.

5. Legend of Zelda Wii U:

new%20zelda%20610.jpg

I liked Wind Waker and this one is similar in lightning, enemy design and also the combat seems to be a more in-depth version of the one in Wind Waker. It also seems that they took a page out of other RPGs and made the world a lot bigger. I only hope they can fill it. Still looking forward to playing it.

That about does it for now. No more titles come to mind. I hope I didn't forget any cool releases.

1. Splatoon- this, to me, seems like the most fun game ever made. I love everything about it that I've seen so far!

2. The Legend of Zelda Wii U- from the moving grass to the art-style to the time mechanics, this looks like yet another quintessential experience coming from the Zelda franchise.

3. Xenoblade Chronicles X- looks massive, looks gorgeous.

4. Codename STEAM- it's by Intelligent Systems and looks incredible to play. The comic book art-style is refreshingly unique.

5. Mario Maker- this seems like a Mario titles that can last one forever. The possibilities are endless.

6. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse- charming.

7. Yoshi's Wooly World- cute.

8. Youkai Watch- I'm curious to see why is there so much hype for this game in Japan.

9. Starfox U- Miyamoto rarely takes a misstep, so I'm confident that this will be great!

10. Devil's Third- looks crazy but fun at the same time.

FF15, Silent Hills, Kingdom Under Fire 2 are not included in the list due to unconfirmed release windows-

1. Xenoblade X : I love Monolith Soft's Xeno series for the most part except xenosaga2. I'm filled with extensive hype for this one, even I don't have a Wii U yet.
Xenoblade-Chronicles-Xcc-YT.jpg

2. Persona 5 : Third party Japanese games are not dead yet!

3. Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain : Something fresh in MGS? yes I would love to play it.

4. Bloodborne : something that seems to me a bit more fast paced, forgiving than dark souls with a more interesting theme? count me in

5. The Legend of Zelda Wii U : would be my first zelda in years

6. Splatoon : Charming, and I expect a more friendly community than the average dudebros shooters, what's not to like?

7. Project CARS : I hope there are enough cars in this to be my go to car game for some time after it's released, looking fine so far.

--Now we're getting into harder ranks,,--

8. Banner Saga 2 : Liked Banner Saga 1, there's something special about it. Hopes this expands on story choices and mechanics.
The_Banner_Saga_2_12052014095823.jpg

9. Black Desert Online : Been waiting this since forever, looks gorgeous with jaw dropping depth of character customization options. Well, I 'm not really sure about the gameplay to be honest. Also..are we actually sure this is coming 2015?

1. Pillars of Eternity : Obsidian's spiritual successor to the Infinity Engine games.
2. The Banner Saga 2 : Sequel to the Kickstarted game The Banner Saga. Turn-based strategy role playing game with choose your own adventure elements.
3. The Age of Decadence : Turn-based role playing game with intentions to give the player a lot of choice and consequence.
4. Grim Dawn : Spiritual successor to Titan Quest. Hack n' Slash at its finest.
5. Bloodborne : I really enjoyed Demons Souls and this looks and feels a lot like it, even if there are some gameplay changes.
6. Yakuza 5: Currently playing Yakuza 4 and I have already played 1, 2 and 3. No wonder that I want this manly soap opera game.
7. Bravely Second : One of my most anticipated games of 2015, but likely will get a 2016 western release.
8. Batman Arkham Knight : I really enjoyed Batman Arkham Asylum & City. Can't wait for the last part of the story.
9. Tales of Zestiria : The Tales games are a guilty pleasure of mine, so this will be bought.
10. Underrail : Turn-based role playing games that is a mix of Deus Ex and Fallout (1 & 2).

1. Metal Gear Solid: TPP - MGS is one the best franchises in gaming and Kojima is a masterful director in my eyes. The depth of the gameplay far surpasses any other action/adventure/stealth game that exists, and I love the vast storyline that goes along with the games. The plot may seem crazy, but the games are very well written.

2. Final Fantasy XV - The demo is coming in March so hopefully we will see a holiday release for FF15. Square is bringing back some of the finer elements of classic Final Fantasy gameplay like a giant world map and lots of guys with spikey hair. I've always been a fan of the battle systems in a FF game, and this game looks no different. Hopefully this will be the game to put JRPGs back in the mainstream. (I can dream, ok?)

3. Uncharted 4 - The Uncharted stories are always fantastic. I love the adventure, mysteries, and treasure hunting. From the showing at PSX U4 is shaping up to be the best in the series in regards to the gameplay. The added stealth elements and the choice of how you want to approach enemy combat areas are great additions to the old, take care of all the enemies here and then move on, areas of the past.

4. Legend of Zelda for Wii U - Another installment of Link's adventures is always welcome. I think the large open world will inspire similar feelings to those I had of Hyrule field in Ocarina of Time. At the time it seemed massive, and all I wanted to do was explore the area looking for secrets. In terms of quality Nintendo rarely fails to deliver.

5. Persona 5 - Finally a new installment and not a P4 spin off (not that I dislike P4 of course). The Persona team always delivers interesting stories and characters. With a little work to the dungeon crawling aspect this should be a great game. And I really like being a Japanese student for some reason.

6. Xenoblade Chronicles X - I liked the setting of the first Xenoblade, but in my eyes X looks much more interesting. The world will no doubt be enormous and have large areas to explore, but it also looks to be much more alive. In terms of gameplay Xenoblade doesn't have my favorite battle system by any means, but I've grown to like it quite a bit. Throw in an interesting story and likeable characters, and I'll be hooked for a 100 hours.

7. Final Fantasy Type-0 - I've played the PSP game (though I never finished it) and I really liked what it has to offer. Many different characters and easy to learn yet challenging at times combat system. It will be great playing this on the big screen, and actually understanding the story this time since my Japanese reading ability is almost non-existent.

8. The Witcher 3 - It feels like I've been looking for to this game forever. CD Project Red has done a fantastic job at taking this series from a little known title to the spotlight. The world looks incredible, and appears to be void of the areas of linearity of the previous game. Gerault is a great character and I'm sure the story will no doubt be entertaining.

9. Majora's Mask 3DS - MM is the only console Zelda game I haven't played extensively, and now I'll have the chance to remedy that. The OOT 3DS game was very good, and I have no doubt this will be as well.

10. Bravely Second - The 1st game was a great classic style JRPG. It had it's faults but I have high hopes for the sequal (intended). Just take out that repetitive storyline portion and I'll be ecstatic.

In reality the top 6 games on here I am incredibly excited for and really have a tough time numbering them, but this will have to do. There's some other games I would have thrown in there but we don't know what the release dates are (FExSMT, Silent Hills, etc.).

  1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PC): I read the books, I loved the first two games, I'm polish. What else will top the list? I'm ready Geralt. Hope my PC is too.
[*]Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PC): I really hope they make the Q4/2015 release. The combat mechanics could be a fresh wind. I also like the "No Dragons" concept
[*]Pillars of Eternity (PC): It's a cRPG with a lot of experience behind it. That is enough to make the Top 3.
[*]Metal Gear Solid V (PC): I really like the stories of MGS. Hope this will be as good as Snake Eater.
[*]Resident Evil: Remaster (PC). I own it on the Gamecube, I own it on the Wii. And on steam it will be number three^^
[*]Legend of Zelda (Working Title, Wii U). I loved every Zelda game since Wind Waker. Everyone. Even Skyward Sword. This game will be amazing. Hope it counts, but it's scheduled for 2015.

1. Xenoblade X: This is gonna be the defining JRPG for the entirety of current. I can feel it right down to my bones. I can't see how one button wonder FFXV can match up on any level outside of the technical aspects in all honesty.

2. Bloodborne: After the relative disappointment of Dark Souls 2, the alpha of this really has me confident this is the Dark Souls sequel we deserve.

3. Zelda U: I'm kind of iffy on the '2015' part on this one tbh, but fingers crossed!

4. Uncharted 4: Also not completely sure it'll make 2015, but holy shit it looks like great fun already.

5. Persona 5: I'm excited for it, but it sure would have been nice to have seen something of the actual game by now.

6. Hotline Miami 2.

7. No Man's Sky.

8. Witcher 3.

9. Batman Arkham Knight.

10. Rime.

There's a ton of other stuff I'm looking forward to, but these jumped off the top of my head first so they're clearly on my mind. Gonna be a great year(Especially for hardcore weeb shit with all the IF, N1, etc stuff also ;) ). Gun' be gud.

Just wish we knew for certain when stuff like SFV and Silent Hills is coming.

1.Bloodborne.
Hidetaka Miyazaki has become one of my favourite game directors and designers and his absence from Dark Souls 2 was felt very much (even though i still enjoyed the game.)
Now with Bloodborne he once again has the freedom to create a new IP and try concepts that he probably wouldn't be able to fit in a Souls game and honestly from what i've seen from Bloodborne so far he is going to once again bring fresh and innovative ideas in a tried and true Souls-like gameplay.Easily one of my most anticipated games ever.

2.Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Even though i have never played a Xeno game before the original Xenoblade Chronicles (the "privilege" of being European),XC was one of my favourite games last gen and it managed to re-kindle my love for JRPGs in a time when the usual masters of the genre (Square Enix) were delivering one disappointment after the other.Monolith Soft managed to make a miracle with XC which was easily one of the most ambitious games i've ever played when you consider the Wii's hardware power when compared to the PS3/360.
Now with Xenoblade Chronicles X their ambition seems to have doubled and from what i have seen of XCX this is going to be one of my dream games. Can't wait to dive into its world and start exploring. And it's the main reason (along with Zelda U) that will make me buy a WiiU.

3.The Witcher 3.
I haven't played The Witcher 1&2 but i have watched extensive and complete Lets Plays of those two games because even though the gameplay didn't look like something i'd enjoy (particularly the combat),the setting, story and characters were all top notch and super interesting to me.The Witcher 3 however seems to have improved the combat system a lot so along with the more open design and with the high standards of story/characters it has become a highly anticipated game for me.
It's one of the few WRPGs that gives me a geniounely gritty European feeling unlike games like Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age who look very American and cliche-ish.

4.Legend of Zelda WiiU.
We don't know much about the game yet but the more open world is a welcome addition to the tried and true Zelda gameplay, and the graphics llok extremely beautiful so i'm very excited about it.Although to be honest i don't expect it to come out in 2015.

5.Rime
Everything i've seen and read of this games looks and sounds very appealing to me and the fact that it gives me Team Ico vibes (in a time when i'm starving for Team Ico games) is a major plus for the game.Very, very excited for it.

6.Yakuza 5.
I love the Yakuza series, they used to be my digital escapades to Japan and i'm so glad this will be finally coming to the west.

7.Final Fantasy Type-0.
It's been a long while since i enjoyed an offline Final Fantasy and if they really improved the gameplay from the PSP version i think i'll enjoy it.But honestly i'm more excited to try the FFXV demo.

8.The Tomorrow Children.
Interesting concept and i love the art style.

9.Splatoon
Very original idea and the game looks a lot of fun!

10.Everyone's Gone to Rapture.
I don't know much about it but what i've seen and read about it so far intrigues me very much.

1. Zelda WiiU: Can't wait to play this if it's truly open world. From the looks of the demo, we're gonna get a great game.

2. Persona 5: Just started playing Persona 4 Golden and absolutely can't wait for P5.

3. Xenoblade X: The sequel to the best RPG of the Wii Generation.

4. The Order 1886: Great atmosphere + concept. The gameplay looks pretty good too.

5. Uncharted 4: Have never played an Uncharted game but it looks great.

6. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate: Played the hell out of MH3U, already got MH4U preordered.

7. Bravely Second: Japan-only for now, hope they get it localized by 2015.

8. FIFA 16: One of the game franchises that I buy year after year.

9. No Man's Sky: Open-ended, Minecraft-style game + Sci-Fi, space exploration. Sounds fun but still not sure whether it'll be a hit.

10. Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D: One of the Zelda games that I have yet to play.

1. Batman Arkham Knight: The Arkham games are in my top 5, absolutely love them to pieces. Even if it's not as good as we all hope, i will still love it.

2. Halo 5: Guardians: Halo is my favorite video game franchise period. I'm very excited to see what happens in the story, i'm not in it for the multiplayer (that goes for any Halo) and i think it will be a very interesting time for the franchise as a whole.

3. Rise of the Tomb Raider: I loved the first one, and I'm so glad it was successful enough to become a long-lasting top tier IP again. I feel like the second one can only be better.

4. Witcher III Wild Hunt: I've never beat either of the first Witcher's but i plan to before the release of this one. A new RPG always sounds good.

5. Majora's Mask 3DS: I'm not actually sure i am going to buy this one, It would be number one on this list if it weren't for the fact iI have to play it on Nintendo hardware, that kinda kills it for me.

Not anticipating anything else.

1. Persona 5
I really can't stress enough how much I want this. I'm currently replaying Persona 4 Golden in wait for this.

2.Torment Tides of Numenara
The original PST is my GOAT, I know we might not see this next year, but I need this game.

3. Bloodborne
Did you see the latest trailer? Enough said.

4. The Legend of Zelda (Wii U)
It's the next Zelda game, I really don't need more than that.

5. Xenoblade Chronicles X (WiiU)
I loved Xenoblade and was pretty much sold by this line.

6. Majora's Mask 3DS
A remake of my favorite Zelda, with new content, on my handheld?!

7. Pillars of Eternity
I was never that much into Wasteland, so this for me was the start of Kicstarter, that later gave/will give me Torment 2. For me this game represents the rebirth of classical WRPG and I'm really looking forward to this game.
(Hey paradox where is my beta key)

8. Witcher 3
Hunting monsters in a fantasy settings? I'm there.

9. No Man's Sky
This might be my next big time sink, but I don't know enough about it to rank it higher yet.

10. Secrets of Grindea
I believe.
