Just some stand out quotes [EDIT] to what I think is a well written article and warrants discussion. You may not necessarily agree with everything it says, I don't, but it does present some coherent and important points regarding the commercialization of sexuality and syndicated misogyny.

To an extent there is big money funding the porn industry but considering how much actresses and producers talk about getting dicked around by banks I would say as large as the industry is it doesn't get as many investors that would be representative of its size. I was on board with this about how the porn industry and most porn degrades women, is based on racial and gender stereotypes and can additionally be harmful from the sheer abundance that we have of it especially on young and impressionable minds.

But then it went way off the deep end with your last quote which makes me question the legitimacy of the entire article for several reasons:

The only part I agree with. I think a lot of mainstream porn is gross or weird or demeaning. That doesn't mean that all porn is necessarily evil and definitely does not support most of the more outrageous arguments.
