Yo OP, you might want to add the real numbers and limits to those review scores. IGN for example is not just a 6, it's 6.5/10.

How are people supposed to know, if it's x/5, x/10, x/20 or x/100?

Wow, i really think that reviewers have a thing against Sony Exclusives. Does this game really deserve to get a 4/10? when other games gets a pass? Like sites know about the hype and then give it an awful score. I have not played it but 4/10 is a pretty terrible score when most games lay around 60-70. I seriously doubt that its that bad.

Is this a joke post?

A company being excited for their new game is a huge slap in the face to all the fans that liked their old games.
This is great.

From Videogamer's review.

My avatar seems somewhat prophetic now.

Still, that's unprofessional of them.

Dear lord... i actually feel sad. I wanted this game to be good at the very least.

I really hope these devs will be getting another chance at a sequel. There is sooo much they can do with this. It has a LOT of potential.

I've played quite a few really fun games that were short and had bad reviews. I spent $40 on MGS V GZ and that game was finished within 45 minutes for the main story (15 minutes being gameplay). The rest was completed within 3-4 hours.

The Order seems like I'd be really interested in playing through, but it's the price that bothers me. I should have held off until the drop. I didn't trust my gut.

When games like AC Unity score what they score despite major issues, you know that many of these reviews are unnecessarily critical when they decide to be.

AC Unity has/had technical issues, but it's a decent game at its core. One of the better AC games post 2. There's no conspiracy. How old are you?

Disappointing scores but, as always, I'll play it myself and find out. Many of the things they pointed out (QTEs, cinematics, etc) are things that don't bother me at all and that I actually enjoy.

I'm glad they stuck with their vision, even if it might not have turned out the way they were hoping. Just means that if they make another one they can improve their vision and make it even better.

It's not just PS4. Next gen exclusives have generally disappointed so far. Even the massively hyped ones. Fortunately it's early days. Shame for this game though. The style and setting are just so cool. I really expected better

I'm still going to play it but this is really disappointing because the theme / world looked so good. Sony really hasn't been doing well with exclusive games on PS4. Hopefully Bloodborne kicks ass.

Some people are saying this is the Ryse for PS4. I liked Ryse so i'll check this out anyway. Got it for discount so I'll make up my own mind.

If I was a reviewer there is a great pun opportunity in there...

Anyone who pre ordered the Order should... 86 their order.

Shame to see it get poor reviews.

Going to buy it anyway. Many people said the same things about Ryse, and it was one of my favorite campaigns so far this gen.

Really disappointing seeing some of the scores roll in from the larger outlets. This game looked incredible from the original reveal and onwards.

I may pick it up way down the line when its super cheap just to experience those insane visuals.

I also really enjoyed Ryse (played it last week on PC), so I'll take these scores with a grain of salt.

I can agree with this, especially as many AAA games launch with little polish at times and that isn't reflected in scores much. In this case though, some concerns we're known for a few days, and the critiques do seem pretty fair.

I do wonder if this game is really "bad" though. Like some of these reviews make it sound unplayable or something.

As do I. But I want to play good ones.
I'll be honest, while I see its flaws clearly, I really enjoyed The Order. It was a brief but satisfying experience. After failing to get more than 20% of the way through various sandbox games in the past few months it was actually refreshing.

Pretty sure it would have scored the same whether it was an exclusive or not.

Right.
It's a conspiracy. Or you know it could also be that they haven't liked what they played. But that's less sexy than assuming anti Sony bias I suppose.

I would be interested in hearing what separates this game from Uncharted in the minds of reviewers. Like, not that I don't believe the game isn't great, but a lot of these criticisms sound a lot like something I could levy towards Uncharted. I'd be curious to hear what people feel like the difference is, or what line between the two The Order crossed that made it take a trip to suck town.

Five huge differences:

* Nate is very mobile

* There is a decent amount of non-shooting gameplay

* Wide open spaces

* Little to no QTEs

* Naughty Dog (they're a class above)

I'll be honest, while I see its flaws clearly, I really enjoyed The Order. It was a brief but satisfying experience. After failing to get more than 20% of the way through various sandbox games in the past few months it was actually refreshing.

I understand that sentiment, but the killer is does this kind of short and sweet experience deserve a full price tag?

I'll certainly check it out when it hits sub £20, but at £40-£50 it is a very, very scary purchase.

I'm glad I have cancelled my pre-order. It was such a shame to see Neogaf and a lot of people on the Internet to defend this title, when we had evidence how bad it was.

Not a chance if the game don't sell

The pacing and story being a negative kills this purchase for me. Doubt I will even try it when it drops in price. I'll just move onto the next best thing on PS4 or some indies.
