Maybe it's different for the original release vs. the HD collection? I started MGS3 HD a few months ago and could have sworn having to wait until I finished the prologue. I was actually confused about when it would show up, it being my first time playing.

I'm pretty sure the HD version of MGS3 plays a pretty lame gameplay trailer for the game if you wait for too long on the screen where it wants you to press start. I'm assuming it's the same in the original. The gameplay trailer has Snake Eater in the background.

So... honestly the earliest I could conceivably see someone starting is mid to late March.

Honestly, I really do think it's either April or June, given that May will be spent doing E3 prep work and the like.

People think I joke, but I do see a world in which they don't start until after E3.
