Much of this included digging into historical sources on Google Scholar to learn more about the cultural trends of 16th century Denmark. Unsurprisingly, the 16th century was a time of increasing trade volume for all of Europe. Port cities became centers for cultural mingling and for dispersed people to begin new lives. We decided that Ophelia's mother, now deceased, could easily have been descended from a line of Spanish-African women; she would have come to Denmark as a servant, part of another (Hapsburg) character's retinue. She then married into her husband Polonius's family line, giving Ophelia a higher social status.

It would've been much easier to make Ophelia a white girl like any other version of her character and call it a day. But we didn't, and this research process ended up giving her a complex and storied history. Here's the kicker: in the end, it didn't even take that long. The days of going to the library and checking out a stack of history books are over. We found everything we needed within about half a week.

Bought both albums. On and On should have been the lead single off This is the One. She's been on hiatus what with divorce, remarriage, and her mom committing suicide. She's coming back though. And as Nomura drew the cover for her last single, its assumed they are working on a deal for KH3.

Has anyone noticed how some women are upset at men(and women in some cases) for defying gender roles while at the same time a not even a few years ago wanted men to be less masculine when it came to things like emotions. Now they're calling men bitches and stuff. not like that is particularly new but I'm seeing it more often that not.
