The PS4 system's games portfolio will continue to expand with highly anticipated titles such as Batman: Arkham Knight (Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment), Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.), Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (SCE Worldwide Studios). The independent development community will also continue to deliver innovative new titles for PS4 including No Man's Sky (Hello Games).

No honorable mention for The Order : 1886? :(

It'll probably be around 24 million around E3 at this rate, though it'd be amazing if they actually hit 25 million by then.

Jan. 4, 2015: 18.5 million

Why the asterisk?

*1 Number of retail sales to consumers is estimated by SCEI. PS4 sales data in Japan collected 2/22/2014 – 3/1/2015. PS4 sales data in North America collected 11/15/2013 – 2/28/2015, in Europe and Latin America collected 11/29/2013 – 2/28/2015, and in Asia collected 12/17/2013 – 3/1/2015.

*2 Title line-up as well as the number of titles differ by regions.

*3 Number as of 12/2/14.

I'm happy seeing such a well engineered piece of kit being this successful. They struck the perfect balance of price with capability.

This is why I laugh when plenty on Gaf think only the good ol' US of A matters with regards to sales.

PS4 is a legit monster worldwide this generation.

Potential is all you need to sell yourself. Just ask any loser with a good looking girlfriend.

Now Sony just needs to deliver on quality exclusives.
