2014 2.00m 0.50m

So around 450K for PS4 is quite impressive number. I think PS4 can beat that if there is a significant price drop.

Should be sell in not sell through. I'm not sure that Nordisk Film is the Icelandic distributor either (not that it makes much difference with a 300k population).

Can anyone provide GTA 5 LTD figures for the UK (for each platform/combined).

I'm assuming it's done better than San Andreas?

No new charts today?

There are. Should provide no surprises for anyone.

This year we’ve seen a couple of motorcycle racing games (PQube/Milestone’s ‘RIDE’ & Koch/Kylotonn’s ‘Motorcycle Club’) but now we have a 4 wheel racing game that does something that no other racing sim has done for 2 years – and that is to claim No1 on the UK All Formats Top 40 (since Codemasters’ ‘GRID 2’ back in week 22, 2013).

The game in question is ‘Project Cars’ for PS4/Xbox One/PC, a crowd-funded AAA release developed by Slightly Mad Studios in the UK and published/distributed by Bandai Namco. It’s also the first boxed product release to tick the following 3 boxes: triple screen 4K resolution and compatibility with Occulus Rift & Project Morpheus…although neither of these VR headsets are actually commercially available right now. Rockstar/Take 2 remain at No2 with ‘GTA V’ (-3%) and Warner’s 3 week run at No1 with ‘Mortal Kombat X’ is over (-35%) as the title drops to No3.

In terms of other new releases there are 2 new Nintendo titles, starting at No21 with Wii U ‘Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush’ with amiibo functionality and then at No32 we have 3DS compilation ‘Puzzle & Dragons Z + Super Mario Edition’. Re-entering the Top 40 for the first time this year at No38 is EA’s ‘Skate 3’ (+15%), which continues to enjoy a cult following on 360/PS3. The game dates from 2010 but units sold in 2014 and 2015 so far are close to 25% of entire lifetime sell-through, which is a highly unusual sales pattern for a boxed product.

Heavy bundling for Xbone or just a very slow week?

Horribly slow week combine with some great deals on the Halo:MCC bundle.

So did Skate 3 re-enter because someone had a new video up, or due to the disgust of the THPS5 announcement?

That is crazy. PewDiePie at work.

Not bad for PCars, but with it being a very slow period, it wouldn't exactly be hard to hit number one...

BB seems to have collapsed hard. I wonder if we can expect some bundling in the near future? Sony are somewhat overdue a gamers bundle. I could see BB, Order and DC in a bundle for £349 in the not too distant future...

Kirby out of goddamn nowhere. Didn't expect that to chart at all, but I guess that can be put down to how slow the week is...

WD on PS4 is a surprise return. Was it on sale somewhere? Pretty sure there's no GoTY, so it's strange to see it suddenly reappear...

I hope it's the latter. That game is an insult to the TH legacy...

I think the next bundle for the PS4 will be Batman, the limited edition console should give the PS4 a big boost in June.

Regarding WD it can be had for under £15 now from Amazon.

This is why PewDiePie gets an insane amount of access from publishers/developers.

Yeah, I was thinking more a gamers bundle like Sony sometimes do, rather than a marketing bundle. We haven't had one for a while...

Wow, crazy how WD well WD seems to have held its value.
