Well, what would I do about role PMs? I only sent everyone a PM asking for confirmation.

Should I assign roles now, with this person included in the list, and then send out the PMs and put up the thread?

I'm out and about right now, but I should have confirmation PMs out withing the next couple hours. Then I just have to figure out how to handle TheWorthyEdge situation.

Yes. Assign the roles, and send out the role PMs. If this person doesn't reply, then just send out that role PM to the replacement. It's what I did when Rembrandt replaced xpike.

It appears that TheWorthyEdge's ban lifts on the 17th. Should I find a replacement right now, or confirm him through twitter and then he can start playing on Sunday?

I'm going to start sending out confirmation messages to the rest of you now.

Also, it appears the user "Terabyte20xx" doesn't exist (or at least I can find them), so I'm probably going to have to dip into the backup pool.

I would prefer NOT to wait, but that's because I'm selfish, have poor impulse control, and hate delayed gratification. I agree with LoC that you can send out role info while we wait.

Also, having never been banned, I feel little pitty for those that have.

He says, knowing two of the three game runners were banned during the last run.

Has Karkador been banned before?

The 17th is probably too long. If you can contact him via some method other than NeoGAF (e.g., Twitter), he can confirm via that and will just have to turn up midway through Day 1, that's not great loss. If he can't confirm via some other contact method, drop him and contact the next person on our waiting list.

You are on the waiting list, but unfortunately you're right at the back end of it. I'd say there's hope but honestly you probably missed this round. By our rules, that gives you first priority next round, so do join us next time. If you want, I can put you on a mailing list for ~3 months time when the next round is.

I kind of feel like Kark has got our names and animals all ready to go, though. So he might have a catchphrase for us already. lol

This is gonna be awesome.
