Playstation Experience seemed so much more hyped. I'd love to throw caution to the wind and let myself get hyped, but I'm not sure what possible big stuff people are hyped about because, without the needed proof it may be true, getting hyped about certain things seems like a parody of previous shows.

What are the biggies that might actually be happening?

Fallout 4
Microsoft will have new IP to show
There's a lot of stuff Sony could show (Horizon, Bend game, MM game, Level-5 will be there)
Hitman 6 could be there
proper look at stuff like Mass Effect 4
yearly The Last Guardian anticipation

Then there's new footage of stuff like Uncharted 4, Scalebound, Halo 5, etc

Uhm... What does that have to do with the conversation that was being had? And it's not even true, in the US. In Japan, the PS3 might still have an active purchasing base, but in the West, PS3 versions of software have dropped off pretty radically. That's why you're seeing PS4 versions of games like DQ Heroes, Persona 5, and Star Ocean 5.

Doesn't matter if it's out in Japan or not, unfortunately. They still need to announce a release date in the end and they'll still, more than likely, (at least with the Treehouse) spend a large amount of time showcasing the game anyways.

I'm all for it because they definitely should promote the game but I've also seen enough footage and I don't want to be spoiled by any more of it from the Treehouse event.

I'm feeling like Sony secured something for the holiday period that's going to piss a lot of people off, ala Tomb Raider. That's my wild prediction for E3.

What would that be though? Anything real big would already be announced and I cant think of a game announced for holiday that would all of a sudden go exclusive. Unless you mean holiday 2016

I hope they don't waste anytime with Xenoblade. Its out already in Japan and I don't need to see another 10 minute video of running through landscapes.

If this moneyhat thing is true, then the only one I can think of is Left 4 Dead 3. Valve can announce it at any time and I think Sony could afford to moneyhat it from coming to XB1.

My predictions, if any:

Nintendo:

Zelda U will not be shown. I'm holding them on their no show note.

Devil's Third footage and date. Guessing fall.

Yoshi's Woolly World NA date.

Xenoblade Chronicles X NA and EU date, at minimum a release month.

Paper Mario Wii U. With the IntSys thing that happened where an employee basically confirmed it, I'd now be surprised if it didn't show up.

Star Fox Wii U date. Will be a full retail game and not this silly episodic nonsense (I really don't like the idea of a new SF being an eShop episodic series, it sounds so bad).
Project Guard is part of Star Fox. Robot might end up being stand-alone but not like the demo but as a different-looking thing.

Next Level Games' Wii U game. Personally hoping Strikers 3 and not Punch-Out. Or better, a new IP. If another Nintendo series; DK.

Something Sonic. Yeah I'm one of the few who's pulling for a Sonic announcement, even if it's only Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for Wii U (and maybe 3DS also this time). Also Sonic being playable as well as Pac-Man, finally, in Project X Zone 2.

Project Treasure update with its full unveiling. Is by both Bandai Namco and Monolith Soft (KOS-MOS only ever really appears in a game if Monolith is behind it nowadays).

A new major 3rd-party, Nintendo-published exclusive ala Bayonetta 2 and Devil's Third.

That's all really as far as what I can point my finger at, but luckily Nintendo is far less predictable than that. :p I'm counting on lots of surprises. :)

Not really sure how much these time slots mean, last year I believe EA's conference was set to be 2 hours long, but ended after 1 so the press could play the BF: Hardline beta.

I'm predicting Metal Gear Rising 2 will be announced and it will be a PS4 exclusive. I don't think it will be a 2015 release though.

1. Gameplay trailers and normal trailers. The only thing that won't count is Conceptual Footage, because fuck that.
2. ANY games announced at E3 that was announced or revealed prior to the event.

And yes, Chobel, you're still in.
