Golden Time-END
Oh well, Damn. I mean damn. It was worth it after all That's what I'm talking about...! I feel stupid for thinking the way I did yesterday now, lol. That was not what I expected at all from the way the second season was going previously. I should always remember from all the shows I've seen so far that
the childhood friend always loses!
; it's always been like that. You guys all had me thinking something totally different was going to happen, and well, the director/writer had me thinking the same thing as well, so I can't blame you guys; it's my own crazy mind, lol. I must say though, other than
his memories "ghost" handing him the ring as they merged, I'll let the "ghost" stuff pass because is was more symbolism throughout and not a gimick like I thought it could be.
Also, at the end,
I understand why Linda showed up on the bridge as he ran towards Koko
, it was showing how he allowed himself to accept his past and fully move on to the direction he really wanted to go in life
with the best girl Koko
Overall, I feel the ending was handled really well, ya'll know I'm a sucker for a
happy ending
It really was a beautiful moment and made me feel good, so dispite some of the fiiller crap throughout the seasons to completely confuse the crap out of you at times, it was really well done and I'm glad
Koko and Banri accepted each other faults and will move along together
Only thing I would have added at the end was either
Linda reaching out to Yana, which may have been implied at that ending part, but wasn't clear. Either way that frantic last few minutes were great.
Once again, I'm far too accepting and tolorant, but it was pretty damn good to finish this one.
My issue with the ending was
how conveniently happy it was. Seeing how the show was so dramatic from start to finish I found the ending to be too "half-baked" with solutions to the problems just popping all at once from different directions, resolving all if these problems in one episode. Idk I guess the short version of my rant is that I found the ending to be too conveniently happy.

Word around, people who read the LNs said the ending should be a couple of episodes long as there were alot of details missed.

I guess the adaptation did the best that it could.

Well the way I see it...

The true ending basically reinforces the promise they made. Taiga
left to face her family problems head on rather than run away from them. Ryuji ahd done the same by accepting his mother once again. Taiga had already admitted her love to Ryuji and he obviously had reciprocated her feelings, but he had never been upfront with it as she had. Now with them reunited, he admits his love which basically means they are equals once again, the Tiger and Dragon. Taiga dealing with her family issues was basically her way of making herself equal to Ryuji too and the ending alludes to them finally being together, not necessarily marrying but definitely in a relationship.

It mostly just came off as a bullshit reason for Taiga to leave so they could reenact the drama of the previous few episodes in the last episode. Yet there wasn't any real drama to it since the amount of time she was gone amounted to 5 minutes in real time.

Nisekoi S2 ep. 07
LOl, pretty damn funny episode. We all love teddy bear panties, lol! It's great we got more Onedara time on screen, she is the best girl after all. Looks like her little
sister found out it was his locket as mentioned at the credits, so next week she will become a part of the harem as well!
Good stuff here, Young master is the man!

Disappearance of Yuki Nagato 08

There's a bit more DTL than I was expecting this week. "Hot springs" doesn't always mean "lewd", though there was plenty of focus on Mikuru's assets. My favorite part was actually the karaoke though. Mikuru singing her character song from the first season is one of those little moments that pings the nostalgia in me. Haruhi's as much of a troublemaker as she ever was, and overall, the show retains its relaxed air. Ryoko looks like she's trying to push Yuki into giving up her glasses in this universe, too.

Nisekoi S2 - 07

Enjoyed this one a lot. A "fresh" perspective with a lot of reactions. Somehow to me it felt like a proper start to season 2. Plenty of Shaft which is always a plus in my book, they even snuck in Kyubey.

That would make sense. All of those problems
getting resolved the way they did in one episode
was probably was killed it for me. The show wasn't bad at all though, I enjoyed it up until episode 24 lol.

Is it wrong to power-level with your waifu? - Episode 7

I'm kind of confused as to how his stats are all S, but he's having trouble against a Minotaur. Is it because he's only level 1?

All this SNAFU talk is making me seriously regret not diving into Season 2 immediately after finishing S1

Tell your friends to hurry up. It's the best thing airing this season, IMO.

Weren't there supposed to be 2 more novels, I feel like I read that here. I am just hoping they decide to animate all novels if it is so. Even OVAs or a movie like Tamako Market would be cool.

All we know is that after vol 10, the author mentioned that we're reaching the finale of the story. Not sure how many are left, but I could see it ending in two books if vol 11 is dealing with Valentines Day.

I see thanks. I will be kinda bummed if we never get an adaptation because I am too scared that the moment I read the LNs it gets announced lol.

Well Volume 9 almost assuredly can't finish in the next episode, so they can cover more material, or even some of the side material stuff (which is at least an episode or two) to fill out a final season. There's a lot of loose plot threads, really. It probably would take a season to get through them regardless of what the books have in them.

I can definately see this as beign one of the issue they ran into because there were a lot holes that were never filled like with
Linda
I think they did a good rush job at teh end, but they definately could have laid it out better.

LOL. I see your point. I think it goes hand and hand with the above though They could have dragged it out for a couple episodes and did a more thorough job with it, especially the part where
all of his memories merging back together suddenlyand he remembers how much Koko meant to him

Overall, is was beautiful and they made it work well..

The key word there is "alludes" and the below comment is basically it. That extra time wasn't needed, IMO. They added the extra layer and it sucked at the time, all I could say was "WTF, WTF, WTF, WTF, WHY, WHY, WHY" at the time. In reflection, I understand what he was trying to do, but it came off as an incomplete thought to end it with. Sometimes instead of "alluding to" something, you need to throw it in their face because the power of suggestion is lost sometimes in presentation.

It mostly just came off as a bullshit reason for Taiga to leave so they could reenact the drama of the previous few episodes in the last episode. Yet there wasn't any real drama to it since the amount of time she was gone amounted to 5 minutes in real time.

This is my aggrivation with it. I watched it again and have a better understanding of what the author was trying to portray, but it doesn;t mean I wasn't completely pissed off with it at the time, lol. I just wish they completed his thoughts there; hold my hand a little bit dammit.

Also, Why is Danmachi is friggen' Spanish again this afternoon. Why does Crunchy keep doing that? uggh, hopefully it clears up tonight and I'll watch it.

Golden Time 12-21:
OK, that was a shocking change of events, like WTF? Really, WTF just happened in ep.21? I mean, there has been a ton of rama throughout, but that was not expected one bit, so now it's explaination time. I know whe is just trying to protect herself, right... right? WTF.

Imagine, ep21 airs , and the books that contain the ending goes in sale, fans goes for the books in order to get the end.

JUST_AS_PLANNED.jpg

And that's what happenned in episode 20.

Those bastards! That makes total sense too. It was a crazy moment for sure. I'm sure it led a lot of people to the bookstore. .

That's why i told you that you should continue. As good or bad as the second half was ( it was full of up and downs ) , the ride was intense.
I hope you understand why people talked during the final parts. that show didn't left many speechless when it was airing...Everyone had an opinion.
Now the show itself is what it is, not "that" great trully , BUT still watchable and enjoyable if you enjoy the genre.
About ,
Ghost Banri
, he can just die ( wait that's impossible ). as effective as that ending was , this character was the most b*llsh*t deus-ex-machina device i've ever seen in drama. NEVER AGAIN.

Btw, Koko is the BEST

It's the tone of the show also brings you down that path as well. That moreso that anything here. Everyone just said the ending was pretty meh, lol. I liked it.
Long live 2D-Kun! It's a shame they couldn't find a 3D woman for him somehow, lol.
2D-kun is the best bro in this franchise, trully the supporting character this show needed.. not too deeply involved, but still involved enough to shake things when necessary.

I liked all of Golden Time. There's just a lot of grumbling on fan communities, man haha.

I like to think 2D-kun impressed Ms. Ultrasonic (who also got shafted) with his manliness and they were married with several children. That part just wasn't shown.

(The author's third work, a manga called Evergreen actually is just awful. I pray everyday that never gets an adaptation)

thanks for the tip about evergreen , i shall skip it

I'm always amused by the lengths animators go to to avoid showing anything too lewd while providing fanservice. It seems they become most creative in these instances. Otherwise Kyon's singing isn't appreciated, and Itsuki flirts with him. Haruhi continues being crazy, and Ryoko focuses more on making sure Yuki doesn't get hurt.

That he did that shit in front of S-rank waifu probably got him some Komachi points.

I'm really glad I watched it to the end since they did craft the ending the way they did. They also spent a lot of time with character development, rspecially with Koko and added just enough angst in there to keep you uncertain. I can appreciate that.

Triage X - 07
Lol they are REALLY putting all their efforts into making those vilains absolutly UNLIKEABLE.
This is so "in your face" i don't even know how i should react.

So Syr
is really Freya
? Also great to see Bell conquer his fear and move up. Still can't believe he is still level 1.

His stats just describe his stat growth for the level he's at I think.

This is a pretty common fan-theory. They've really done a poor job explaining why and what she is actually doing.

Sound Euphonium 07

Eh, wasn't feeling it this episode. Doesn't help that the two girls the conflict is centered on suffer from sameface and I'm getting confused who is who.

All they've managed to do was give the impression she wants to fuck him and I expect that is only part of her plan.

HYPE LEVEL at MAX

That fight was HYPE incarnate.

BIREBOLTooooo !!

I nodded IRL when it concluded.

Yeah, that's was pretty badass - especially since he just invoked the power of shonen hotbloodedness to fight an enemy he couldn't realisitically defeat with his brass balls, instead of just being so OP he could beat the designer of the game or hack the system to create Excalibur out of thin air. *ahem*

Anybody knows when the red haired guy that is in the Danmachi intro apears?

The next episode is named for him, so

You know , you didn't see me during the last and ( god how many ) sao discussion ( or should i say dislike ?) because i'm honnestly tired of it.Can we just stay on danmachi , please ? This is becoming tiresome.

Shokugeki no Soma - 08

Entertaining and educational at the same time, unlike my school years. That Aria-gasm was great with the audio, when they showed the face I lost it.
Nice to see an opponent(s) cut from the same cloth as Yukihira. I hope Megumi turns useful soon, cute can only get you so far.

Yona of the Dawn 15
The new intro sucks.

Episode starts pretty heavy, focused on King Il's legacy as a failure and Yona's grief regarding it. The second half is focused on general Gun Tae, who is nostalgic to the era before King Il outlawed warfare. He deals with King Soo Won, who is visiting the area, pessimistic that the king is going to take the kingdom back to its previous glory days. As for what the king has in mind with the mock battle and festival, well, I guess the payoff for that has to come later.

Hey, it could be worse. We could be invoking the power of friendship. (See, every other shonen in the history of the universe). Besides, I just had to listen to people bag on Golden Time for like 4 pages. ><
