there is no multiplayer so I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
Its disappointing though, I thought they will surprise us by brining firefight. But based on the description on the site, it really is just campaign

I remember watching the very first teaser in a 180p video in the school computer lab. First I thought it was wreckage from the Forward unto Dawn falling onto a forerunner planet and got myself all excited.

You sure about that? I'm in Australia which means our online population would be one of the lowest on the planet and on the occasion when I can actually find a game, it's always even teams. The game is fixed now, there's just no one playing it. This is easily one of the biggest fuck ups in modern video game history.

I'm sure there are a handful of people out there that are just like you and only want to play one of the games included, but honestly it would be better for the community as a whole if they moved to fewer playlists overall. I'm more surprised that anyone wants to play CE in this collection though, the PC spawns are beyond ridiculous, the hit detection is still off and the shield indicators when shooting or being shot are almost always wrong. I would just prefer a set of hoppers that keeps populations and by extension ranks within a usable scale. As is it now, when ranks finally do come out they won't function properly because of how few people are actually in each matchmaking list.

ODST was always playable in Coop.
Yeah, on occasion, matches will start as 3 v 4. It is not frequent but it is not uncommon either. There are other things too like no dedicated servers for matchmaking, barely.

The reality is, they are taking as much as time as they can to attempt to QA the release and give them as much time as possible. Adding a significant new piece of content to an already unstable base game is probably going to break even more stuff.
Im just worried that they will throw the content out this month because they said they would and not because it's actually ready.
This is their attempt to make up for the shoddiest, bug filled, disgraceful original MCC release. They know if they fuck this up, there's no going back. They should take as long as they need.

Nah its just people quitting pre-game when something is voted on they dont want. The Halo community doesnt want join in progress so they is what you get. No JiP worked back in Halo's heyday but times have changed and gamers are different. It just doesnt work in 2015. Halo stubbornly wants to be the only game to do it and look at the result. The entire online aspect is potentially ruined because of this design choice. The proof is in the pudding.
Also I beg to differ about this game not having a big community. There are like 10 playlists and I can find a game in any one in seconds. That is actually pretty impressive. I didnt think people would be playing old games at any time of the day.
The big problem for me in MCC these days is the game still crashes constantly. This is completely unacceptable this far from release.
If they actually get this fixed by E3 (big if there), I wouldn't even be mad they announce MCC's free with gold. Cause then the whole damn world will play and it'll feel like summer of 2008 again, which is what we all want anyway.The fact that they're bringing out all these MCC bundles makes me think this isn't too implausible.

btw there would be a backlash from more than million who paid for it and thought it was broken.
Well its either that or the MM is just dog shit, because in BTB and other gametypes in the bottom of the list, I have to wait a lot to find players. but for H2A, and rotating gametype it isn't so bad.

Just go to the marketplace and go to most played games. I'm pretty sure that because they have this list Major doesn't do the top XBL games anymore.

Yea, I think the cutoff date was supposed to be the same day as the big fix but that didn't happen and I think even made it worse. Hopefully they do extend it, would be a bit shitty to screw over everyone who got it for Christmas and what not and it was still broken, plus I didn't get it until earlier this year so would be nice to get it free.

Besides, constantly jumping between games is confusing. I'd rather not re-learn control schemes at the start of every single match.

Like I said early, I think it would benefit the community more to consolidate the playlists. I know it would make a select portion of the players upset, but it is better for the overall health of the MM community to have more players in each hopper. I'm not saying it is a good thing to do, but with populations only getting worse they have to do something to bolster populations.
I'd rather wait longer for a game I actually want to play, than to instantly get into something I have no interest in playing. I'm sure others feel this way too, and that's what leads to rampant quitting at the start of matches when voting doesn't go their way.
Besides, there's practically no wait for me at all in the Halo CE playlist, despite people saying before launch that there would be nobody playing it.

Long time halo fan here. I need doubles to come. I can't take randoms anymore. The matchmaking time for me is fine so a few more playlists is ok

Some people don't like halo or fps, a co-worker gave me his code for mcc, I passed it along to someone that was slightly interested. I think there is fps fatigue as well

Why would MS charge the same price for the XBone version of ODST as the 360 version? This is lacking firefight and it doesn't have the entire Halo 3 multiplayer suite like ODST had when it launched. That's why his comment is ridiculous and I'm positive I'm right.

Check my initial post and the one immediately after, there were five hoppers I mentioned originally and then added in the follow up that 2v2 would be fine to add as well, so long as it was using each of the games as options.

It's supposed to be free for fans who played the MCC before December 19th or something like that. I'd guess at this point that has changed and they'll drop it for everyone who owns the MCC for free forever.
