w/o Gameworks : 54fps
w/ Gameworks : 46fps

I really hope I missed a setting or the actual game just looks a lot better, because nothing in the benchmark looked remotely great.

..Or Witcher 3 and it's fantastic textures has spoiled me.

Rocksteady developed it, Iron Galaxy ported it, but never forget that WB was the ultimate decider; they looked at it and said, "yeah, this is ready to be sold."

The benchmark isn't at all representative of performance in-game, FYI. It will be worse, and the benchmark is flat-out wrong 100% of the time due to the in-game 30FPS cap. The benchmark has no such limit, which makes it inherently dishonest.

I wonder if there's any optimism about Batman to be gained by the rumors that QLOC are taking over MKX's PC branch. Or if the two are at all related. One too many shit PC ports for their liking. It's a nice thought.

I trust in IG much more than High Voltage. they have an extensive resume regarding working with the unreal engine. I'm just going to assume that they got the final build really late in the process and WB wanted 0 delays with getting the game out the door.

I would be truly shocked if the game still performed this poorly in a weeks time.

But yeah, WB needs to institute some sort of process to make it so that the PC ports of their games aren't hot garbage. Seems that Mordor was the exception.

I was literally one click away from pre-ordering Batman on Nuuvem, decided to wait, but then WB yanked their games from Nuuvem. Then I decided to use that GMG coupon, but still decided to wait. The waiting saved me some cash.

The Iron Galaxy developer sub was created last May and has had Arkham Knight in it from the off, plus the additional data depots were added around five months ago. IG has had plenty of time, but apparently dropped the ball in this case.
