Stuffed with Milk Icing. As if right now they are testing it in Bakersfield CA and the pricing is set of 2 for $1 or $4.49 for a dozen.

Taco Bell is #killinit in terms of fast food these days.

Amazing food, great dollar menu going, good drink options (baja blast is good, new mango brisk is god tier and apple soda stuff is tasty), good meal deals, getting stuff grilled... 10/10, would eat again.

No way. Living in Bakersfield is about to pay dividends! Brb gonna go get some and give you my impressions.

Wait... they probably aren't available yet. Hmmm.

Taco Bell: how bout a breakfast burrito for breakfast... NAH WAFFLE TACO AND CAPTN CRUNCH DONUTS

Can someone explain to me what that is, exactly? I'm seeing what looks like crunch berry dust on a nasty looking red dough shell. What is it supposed to taste like?

So, I just ate some (2 pack for science and GAF, of course).

They're pretty comparable to the normal Cinnabon bites. The outside was nice and crispy, giving way to a softness/chewiness that was very pleasant. The dough they use was sweet but not cloyingly so. The filling was the biggest departure from the normal version: it was much less viscous/thick and was much less sweet than the Cinnabon icing. This led to overall a much more enjoyable (imo) dessert than the normal Cinnabites(?), because I usually find them to be far too sweet and they set my teeth on edge.

As for the Captain Crunch flavor: it was very (berry?) subtle. If I didn't know it was supposed to taste like CC, I probably wouldn't have made the connection. Maybe my bites didn't have enough Crunchberry dust.

These are better eaten in one bite because the filling will likely run out of the dessert and all over your hand (and maybe your car).

Basically, it tastes like deep fried sweet dough with a sweet milk based filling. Think funnel cake dipped in milk.

Verdict: 8/10

This was more in depth than I had any reason to hope for

Doesn't look appealing to me but they picked a good place to test this out in, Bakersfield (my hometown) is full of stoner kids that would love to try this out.

I just had these and while I sometimes like disgusting things, I just couldn't get myself to like these. The Cap'n Crunch coating is pointless since the flavor is almost imperceptible. On top of that, there's so much oil it's absorbed that there's no crunch - and that's after having it fresh out of the bag. I'd call it more oil-soaked birthday cake holes. The cream-filled center doesn't last too long, as you can see in the pic I took maybe 10 minutes later. It gets readily absorbed and infused into its surroundings.

I only brought myself to eat one of the four I bought so my partner will have to eat the rest. :p The standard donut holes they have are far superior.

I don't get the appeal of a food item like this.

What's so special about Cap'n Crunch? It's a mediocre junky cereal that's pretty much always on sale at the store.

I saw these on a poster on the nearest Taco bell where I live and I'm thinking to myself, "Why do these exist". Even for junk food it just looks terrible

I liked them. I had some over the weekend and ate a couple of the regular Cinnabon Delights to compare them since it had been a while since I tried the originals. I'm not sure if I liked them more than the originals or not but I will eat some more of them.

Tried it again since my partner said no thanks. If you really want to taste the cereal flavor, eat it after it's been refrigerated, which makes sense. I've never eaten Cap'n Crunch warm. I think it's tolerable cold.

Had these last week, they were okay but it's something I'd never get again. The donut part of it tasted like blueberries and it was decent, but the filling was not very good. The whole thing looks like a plain cake donut hole that was dropped underneath you car seat and grew weird colored mold all over it for months. Such a strange idea, I don't see Taco Bell bringing these back again.

They have them here in La Puente at the Taco Bell in Hacienda. I tried them out too. Two for me, two for mom. They taste like strawberry flavored dough with icing in the middle. Way too sweet. The problem is that I'm not really tasting the Cap'n Crunch part of it.

I can't decide if I should try these. It's one of those things that almost looks scary fake. Like those limited edition Oreo flavors
