How can a game be delayed if never given a release date.

People just started assuming a 2015 release date because that's when they want the game released. Thus far there's been no indication of a release at all this year though. We don't even know who will be publishing the retail version (or if there will even be a retail version at this point).

The No Man's sky article apparently lists '2016' as the release date, and the subreddit is not pleased.

Did they need to see it in writing to know that it was 2016 or something?

I mean, when E3 came and went with Sony's most hyped game this side of Uncharted (I know it's not actually "Sony's game," but they've been spearheading the marketing push from the beginning) still without a release date, wasn't that an obvious enough indicator that it wasn't coming this year?

If it was coming in 2015 they would have made a huge deal of that fact. See: Fallout 4.

I had assumed NMS would be an early-mid 2016 release since there was no release date announced at E3.

And aaaaaaw yiss. motha. fuckin. Horizon Zero Dawn.

Just read Eurogamer's Horizon preview based on the demo they showed to the press. This game couldn't possibly sound more promising. Looking forward to more nuggets of info.

Damn, that's a nice piece of art.

It's every free to play mobile game that everybody seemingly gives a free pass because it's Fallout. I'm really not surprised at their score.

It's in the same boat as Final Fantasy Record Keeper, IMO. It's a game that wouldn't get much attention at all if not for the manner in which it utilizes your love of the IP, or nostalgia for past games.

Granted, I think RK is a much better game than Fallout Shelter, but they're both easy money for the companies that make them, but ultimately unsatisfying, poorly designed games if you measure them against anything but other mobile F2P games.

I was just thinking this. What if the humanity was wiped out by an AI that controls everything and after most of the humanity was dead, the AI searched in the Internet to create a new world and found wikipedia articles of dinosaurs and it build all those replicas ?

No Man's Sky has to be coming this year no? IGN first and now another preview with games that are coming this year. Seems likely?
