What part of RE6? It even gave me a negative first impression, but it has something of a learning curve. I think most people start off trying to play it like RE4/RE5, but playing it like those games just doesn't feel good, because the game is designed in a completely different kind of way. The campaign is also uneven.

Usually best experienced if someone can teach you the mechanics or messing around in Mercenaries to figure it out. Learning how stamina works, the different kind of slides, melee attacks, how to automatically combine all herbs so you don't have to mess with your menu, quick-shotting, and other things do help a lot, and I can say for at least myself and many I have played with, there's a moment when it clicks. The game isn't the best RE game, but I'm reminded of my first time playing it and not really liking it, but the game does a bad job at explaining some things to you. It also doesn't help the campaigns jump around a lot in quality.
I've beaten Leon's campaign (crap) and I'm halfway through Chris's campaign (shit). I know how to do the slide mechanics and quick shots but it's just so awful. The sad part is, if Leon's campaign really is the best as I hear then this game is never going to be good.

Suffice to say this isn't what I wanted from any Resident Evil. I guess the silver lining is that 7 cannot be worse.

I like RE6 well enough for what it is, but it isn't the direction I want the series to go in either. Though I actually think Leon's campaign is the worst, but opinions radically change (Leon campaign has the worst boss battles, forced walking, terrible pacing, most QTEs, there's a few segments I like but I don't see what people see in it compared to the other campaigns). However, I did end up enjoying the game with some time and playing with people. For my general opinion, there's parts of Leon's campaign I like, but it's my least favorite, I kind of like the second half of the first chapter, parts of chapter 2 (but it goes on for too long), and chapter 4, but that's me. Chris's campaign I think the second half is better than the first (chapter 3 starts with the invisible snake, then I really like chapter 4 of Chris' campaign personally, and also like his final boss personally though the last phase takes a bit to figure out what to do). Jake's campaign has some extreme ups and downs but also has my favorite chapter in the game. Ada's campaign has some fun diversity, has some stealth, some puzzles, but also has a terrible finale.

This all said, I did find myself enjoying it well enough and do enjoy the game's combat.

One day Death will win tho.

Happy birthday Bayonetta~!

I really liked RE6, the Leon and Jake campaigns were really good I thought, the Chris and Ada campaigns were okay too but not nearly as fun. I also like the weapons you get during the Leon and Jake campaign more.

I just dunno if I can be assed to beat it any time soon. Maybe after 0 some day.

I find it weird that us who pre-ordered Resident Evil 0 days ago haven't gotten a code from GMG, when people ordering it today and yesterday gets the code straight away.

Hopefully the rest of us gets out codes sometime today.

re6 apologists are bad people don't believe their lies

I legitimately like it and I stand by this statement.

This said, I also would prefer a different direction for RE7, and it's not my favorite RE game. Actually, it's one of my least favorite of the main numbered RE games, but I still think it's a good game. I've had a lot of fun with it.

I am thinking with RE7 they're going to try and do something new again, hoping whatever it is they go more horror-y next time. But I'd be fine with a co-op action title. I'm one of the weird audiences that like both newer and older RE games for completely different reasons.

Winning Putt is a golf MMO in open beta now

This morning, Bandai Namco announced Winning Putt, a free-to-play golf game, and promptly started its open beta. It's best thought of as a golf MMO: there's a club you can wander around in to socialize, gear to buy and 'enchant' with gold and platinum, experience points, guilds—you can even bring snacks with you to keep your stamina up. But it's still golf.

Should'Ve known. But you should watch. She discusses how to say her name and how terribly wrong people get it. She doesn't call turfster by name, but we all know she implied him.

Ah, I should have clarified that I've watched that portion of the interview.

The thing is, I love 4 and like 5 (if we're talking cooperative then 5 is actually a lot of fun besides some stupid preludes to 6's garbage like gattling gun safaris). I just can't get over how much more roided out on action 6 is.

2.Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
3.Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
4.Tom Clancy’s The Division
5.Grand Theft Auto V
6.Fallout 4

Dragon's Bomba didn't clear 100k yet, wonder what that says for RotTR.

re6 is better than 5 in all respects and doesn't have a braindead ai partner which gets you killed every 10 seconds.
