A full orchestra would be amazing, imagine what Shadowlord would sound like. Though even if they do manage to perform Nier music with a choral ensemble at some future event, I'd kind of want Okabe to be part of it, especially for Shadowlord's Castle and The Incomplete Stone.
Did Okabe contribute vocals? That's pretty cool if he did.
He's credited as "male chorus" for those tracks, as well as a few others in Drakengard 3 and Tekken. I think he sung on the Japan-only Smash Bros. 4 remix of Ashley's Song as well.
I really hope this is recorded or live streamed. Not only for the NieR: Automata news, but also for the music itself. Especially if some of the old songs were rearranged and the new songs are just exciting all together. This is also the best place to announce that Emi Evans is back for Automata.
Emi Evans on vocals, Keigo Hoashi on piano, Takanori Goto on guitar, Reiko Tsuchiya's quartet on strings.

It's a concert event at Ex Theatre Roppongi with tickets going at 6000yen. About 60 bucks.

It's not one of Keigo Hoashi's, but a performance of the Grandma arrangement from the same album adapted for vocals could be great as well.
