I expected poor shipping service from amazon, due to their "ship preorders based off final price paid by customer" rule (not a real rule, but it sure seems to be the case in my experience, the less discount I have, the faster it gets delivered). But a delivery date pending status 3 days after the game has already been on the market, for a preorder made 8 months ago?

I guess bestbuy decided for me to not get Fire Emblem by having it out of stock since I've been on the fence last couple days of ordering it with the 20% discount.
No, I pre-ordered Quantum Break and Deus Ex with it. It also covers Recore, Scalebound and Gears of War 4 from what I've seen.

That list is weird, I ordered Republique and Garden Warfare 2. The latter isn't on the list but I got the 20% applied to it.
It's definitely weird because a qualified item should have this "Save 20% when you purchase 2 or more qualifying games. Both items must be placed in cart at checkout to receive discount. Qualifying games" on it.

I mean, it should. But there's no exact timing on the science of how long it takes, etc.
I feel like that is a truly dangerous game to start playing just to save 20%, especially with something that is truly hard to find now.

I get the distinct impression that retailers way overstock themselves in Ubisoft titles and that's why they depreciate in value so quickly. It's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy because astute gamers realize this and are more than happy to wait a couple months for a game to bottom out from $80 to peanuts.

i'm only guessing here, but they might have gotten a better than usual price adjustment from an amazon.ca CSR either intentionally or accidentally and didn't want to deal with the potential questions that might arise from people in the thread about how they got that price.
that or they didn't want the image to be used by others to contact amazon and ask that their item be dropped to that price?
I have no idea, i'm literally taking a shot in the dark here. lol

well, after the blacklash some people were getting for posting deals they were getting from amazon csr's, whether it was justified or not i can't really blame them for avoiding any potential drama.
for anyone in here that wants that pokemon 3ds bundle, i'm about to cancel my preorder for it from bestbuy.ca. if it does pop back up as available for preorder, i hope one of you gets it!
Out of curiosity, are any Toronto GAFers interested in an open box TES+ or TE2+ PS3/4 arcade stick at the pre-adjustment Amazon cost (~$190/~$235 respectively)? I've been using the TES+ and it's great, but I'm tempted to try out the TE2+ to see if I prefer the form factor. I'm just hesitant to open it if I can't easily get rid of one or the other. Feel free to PM me if interested, thanks.

Any kind of reduction on that $99 price is a good thing for the buyer. It's really made me 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc think the purchase. I loved Awakening so I am on board with this one but that price....
If I could have gotten it for any less it would be a guaranteed purchase.
