Imagine some sandbox stealth/action co-op gameplay! 😭
Go to 15:25 in this video, sweet melee move.
from the way nathan walked down steps it was easy to tell this is the same engine as the Ps3 games
I have no idea what accent Troy Baker is going for in this game. It seems super inconsistent. In one moment he has some Boston accent, and in another line he's just normal ass Troy Baker.

Double melee takedown with Sam @2:40 in the video
Some people have pointed out Jacks brother looks a bit derpy there compared to the rest of the game.
Here's mc's face from gameplay. Looks damn great, but still wish they hadn't started the vs biz.
Note the rope impact on the environment @ 12:14. Thanks for the videos. Have you seen one where the player inspects a treasure ? Given the fair amount of dialogues and interactions this game has, I wonder if Nathan Drake will now comment on the treasures he finds like, let's say, Lara Croft.
You can also see the effect of the realtime cutscenes.
COmpared to the other times we saw this cutscene after they see the explosion, Drake and crew are still wet
really nice

Hmm.. That disarm animation makes the gun disappear from Nate's back. About the mechanic itself, it forces the player to vary his playstyle by smoothly modifying his loadout, which is good. On the downside however, you may lose your favorite gun in the process. (in some situations)

This is one the best thing that real-time cut-scenes add to the game, continuity.
My only fear is that it will make all cutscenes completely unskippable, which might become an issue when i make my fourth run.
Why would that make them unskippable?

Love the explosion and guy going flying by the door on the left...

Hmm, they'd need to let you shoot with the weapon until the clip is empty, and then have you throw the acquired weapon (press pick / throw button throws the one in hand) OR your existing one (pressing reload with acquired weapon in hand keeps the new one, ditches the old - intuitive and simple), without any of them suddenly disappearing. Too late to fix this though. Nice indirect shadows btw.
If you notice the weapon he steal with the move is the same he have on his back.
The combat in Uncharted 4 is better than ever. Uncharteds shooting always felt a bit clunky to me, but I still played it and loved it. Uncharted 4 has made some substantial improvements to the combat, cover, stealth and movement mechanics. Running around, getting into cover, climbing, melee combat and swinging around using your grappling hook is slick and fluid. I really enjoyed rushing into the middle of a bunch of enemies and knocking one out, dive rolling out of the way and quickly getting into cover. It feels so refined and thought out, you can really tell that effort has been made to make this feel as solid as possible.
It's a bit hard to see given the size of the GIF, but he swapped the AK47 for the FAL.
Yeah i think you're right. Was the AK out of ammo?
I'm just watching the Eurogamer preview and it's a bit odd. Everything they say seems out of kilter with what every other person has said. Crap at games? The one thing that stuck out for me was when they say once an enemy spots you everyone else is alerted. That's not what I've seen in the dozen other vids and it's not what was said in the other dozen vids.

well. Its not beating Star Citizen. I see muddy textures here and there, and oh man that over used motion blur and obvious FXAA to hide the jaggies just ruins the entire 30 fps motion as motion blur tends to do when coupled with FXAA. Sorry PS4 gamers the ground texture at 17:30 is not tessellated (quite pathetic) as well that texture draw LOD is extremely low as in 2005 LOD low.
Games that demolish uncharted 4 are the following.
Star Citizen.
Crysis (the original one)
Metro 2033 and Metro Last light.
Witcher 2 and Witcher 3 maxed out.
Just cause 2 and Just cause 3 maxed out.
Far Cry 3.
GTA 5
ARMA3
VBS3

Gonna have to do multiple playthroughs to see all the winch conversations
Seriously though, I've seen very little, but so far I've loved all the banter

I much prefer previews like this, rather than the ones saying the combat is tight as ever.
a few others have said somewhat of the same thing. this guy says that once the gun sounds go off everyone knows where you are. i could have sworn posters were discussing a player's location being instantly known upon firing the sniper, too.
Love this melee animation:

That Sully tho.
Naughty Gods.

But we've seen videos where a gunfight happens and then the player can lose all the enemies. Unscripted videos from this very release batch. The enemies even say 'we lost him'. This happened in TLoU.
What are these people smoking
This has an extended scene which follows the bridge detsruction of the official video. They reach the Volcano later, I hope it gets erupted and we see good lava fluid simulation (like the UE4 Elemental Demo).

Nice to see alexandros roaming about in the NeoGAF afterlife.
I don't know if it's my imagination but if you look closely at the close up of Nate turning the ignition key in the jeep it appears his knuckles leave heat marks for a second.
edit: I think it does you know! Wow. Can someone gif that please? 00:33

Videos I played, different routes and different play styles.
There are probably more than 5 locations hidden to be found, as far as I know.

Playthrough 2: Assassinate at first, melee later.
