Uncharted 4 multiplayer detailed

Seems silly to have Ranked TDM and unranked TDM playlists tbh. Sure at the start there will be enough players to support the redundancy but down the line people will just play Ranked. I think more people would appreciate a party ranked and a solo queue ranked.

Really hope command is good, because if it's not my bag I'm basically looking at a 1 mode multiplayer (Plunder.) I really hope a rolling objective mode makes it in.

Props on their model and roadmap tho, it looks good.
The unranked is limited for a certain number of matches. I'm pretty sure it's similar to boot camp from Call of Duty.

This multiplayer is going to be so fucking rad! Free everything just makes me incredibly happy. I'm not bothered about no co op at launch yet because I know ND will knock it out of the park.

The fact that everything is free is great, but it's just really disappointing to me to not have any sort of co-op at launch. Some of my favorite gaming sessions of last gen are playing co-op survival in Uncharted 2 for endless hours. It was just a simple wave-based hoard mode on the competitive maps. Seems like something relatively simple to have in the game at launch, but I'm no programmer. Guess it gives me something to look forward to this fall.

Only on the gaming internet... can people seriously be bitching and trying to find things to complain about... In a thread about free content support post launch into 3 seasons of the year, with the largest single player experience they ever crafted, let alone the wealth of multiplayer on top of that.

It's really silly... for how much attention ppl pay to games, they ought to spend a little bit more time understanding the realities of software development.

At the end of the day, ND is a team of human beings working on a project with limited resources.

I hope they sell a lot of copies and make plenty of money selling skins and guns so that this becomes the norm rather than a welcome exception.

The campaign alone is worth those $60, and the MP and free content are just the cherry on top of a delicious cake. Gonna have to renew PS+ as it expires this month and I'll probably keep playing a lot of SFV and UC4 MP.

After playing the beta, and knowing co-op is coming, this will definitely be one of my most played games of the entire year.

I'm definitely happy they decided to make all maps and expansions free. Kind of sad there's no Co-op day one, but I can wait for it. Trials seems somewhat like co-op so I hopefully that and the other modes can hold me over until Autumn.

This game has so much value for AAA, can't think of many games that offer such a package.

Basded on the gameplay demo's and improvements, I've seen. I think I will end up replaying this game at least 3 times. But, probably up to 5. I've replayed Uncharted 2 three times I think, which is crazy considering the lack of open level design encounters. Uncharted 4 might not might having me not just replaying the game, but also encounters.

So happy no paid content. TLOU and previously UC multi is great, but those TLOU weapon purchases were not welcome for sure.

Yeah cause it's not like all other Uncharted games had all modes and coop at launch, oh wait...

Yea, but this uncharted is on new hardware. I'd probably say this is more ambitious than any of the previous uncharteds but I havent played it yet, so we'll see.

But I mean, even if you hold it against them that they set it up as a standard feature availble at launch, the mode is still coming, its free, its not cancelled, so I dunno whats the problem. They just couldnt get it out in time for launch, but there still going to give it to us later this year. So if it bothers you so, you can always wait, man.

Hope there are more maps beyond summer. Couldn't care less about the lack of a coop horse mode. The beta was super fun.

It's still not Pay To Win, even if it takes forever
I think of it as a power cap; if anyone, free or paying, have the same power cap then it's fine

Haha bullshit. Planetside 2 was 'pay to not grind' but it was so absurdly skewed that it was literally pay to win. Early on it was not at all reasonable to buy rocket pods or that big bomber gun with earnable currency and they were insanely strong. Early on the pleb normal players were getting farmed by the thousands by people who spent money. I know because I was doing it. It may have been gross but at least I'm not a hypocrite about it.

*reads post*

Yes.

Yes.

NOICE.

Uh huh

*gets to the bottom of post, sees no Team Objective in launch mode list*

I think we should give ND a break here. They just finished their biggest, baddest Uncharted single player campaign ever. SP is what Uncharted is all about. They had to delay the day two times to make it the way they wanted to so they probably didn't have time to finish the coop campaign.

Yeah, I can't say I'm not a bit disappointed with no co-op at launch. I guess I was just expecting it to be there after 2/3 had it. Though I'll be plenty busy with what is here already (especially with the bigger singleplayer campaign). I really hope they add Team Objective and Three-Team Deathmatch as one of the modes down the line. Really loved those in 3 despite a lot of the other mistakes it made in multiplayer. Good to hear the modes/maps in the future will be free. The trials sound neat too.

Trials is some sort of co-op?
