I would think Scorpios focus would be on the HoloLens. VR they will treat like HDDVD. Not the best comparison. But that is my thought.

Excellent leaks and excellent use of a gif. You're one of my new favorite GAFers.

HoloLens is stand alone though.

I hope MS supports both Vive and OR. Don't want them to take a side.

With all the leaks, Phil is frustrated and they instead to drop the Scorpio megatons on stage, it would be a mic drop moment.

I know that much. What I'm saying is MS won't care as much about VR as they will about their own AR.

No they will care about both, that's why they already have partnerships with Vive and Rift already they wont have to do any work.

Their AR device currently cost $3k so they wont focus on that for awhile

MS deeply cares about VR. In fact VR is only available on their platform (Windows 10) they are going to use that in their advantage. Xbox Runs W10. Next version of Xbox will be even closer to PC. They wont miss this opportunity. Partnering with Vive and Oculas will be big for them.

HoloLense is completely different product. Not gaming focused and not not tethered. Its stand alone item which costs $3k

Mic and XboxOne sales drop moment indeed.

Hololense is a PC itself. It can stream Xbox through Xbox App. Just like any PC. Thats about it.

Hmmm interesting. I know it's untethered but I would still think there's a good bit of possibility for both working together for some added benefits.

This. Plus the applications are completely different. VR is easier to push to consumers than AR. Especially for gaming.

Daniel From Windows Central just tweeted this

Hearing rumblings of new Surface (non-Pro) and/or new Microsoft Band. Doesn't make sense to me around #E32016 unless gaming tie-in?

The gaffers who hinted at it are the ones who also got a lot of the Xbox leaks today right ... is prob true.... Damn shame .. and everyone better give SONY crap like MS for raider!

What if Capcom decided it would be that way?

What if it's a VR only game?

Y'all are getting your panties in a twist too early. We haven't even seen what else Microsoft have in store yet either.

Just some musings of random gaffers.

Sove your meltdowns for if it actually turns out to be real.

Well, it did come from Enter The Dragon Punch so we'll see, they've claimed to know stuff in the past.

RE7 with VR support and PS4 console exclusive, but will have a PC release. That's what they're saying.

Won't happen, Capcom will just say they weren't sure they could make it without partner funding and GAF will buy it hook, line, and sinker.
