Got a tip of an awesome place to catch pokemon from a wAitress at lunch. As we drove close I see 3 pokestop all with lures. As we get closer pokemon start popping in droves. I grab the first one I don't have. Then the servers crash..... I waited 20 minutes. Nope.

Went home depressed

I haven't heard of something like this happening to other people travelling faster than the speed they've designated for eggs.

Don't really see it as being anymore of an advantage than living downtown though. There's no Pokémon on the freeway anyways unless you use an incense.

I was under the impression the game did this on its own...

As it is right now, the game doesn't keep the screen on and battery saver mode only puts up a black'ish screen but the screen timeout will still happen.

Servers have 0 issues and you'll have plenty of interesting stories to tell at those hours

Especially if you live by tons of bars/clubs

Nope, I already have a Gastly. It was definitely a bird on fire, with a horizontal silhouette.

Yeah, same with me. I was driving, and at a stop light, I checked Go for a bit. Saw the Gastly silhouette and thought it was a legendary bird like Moltres. Was about to flip my shit and go looking for it but then the light turned green and I moved on.
