I feel like there's still a chance Oculus will sever ties with him, but I admit Rubin and some of the other Oculus exclusives circling the wagons so fast isn't a good look. Props for doing something like that with the money, instead of just pocketing it.

Ill say im not making judgement about anything beyond the fact i condemn jackasses that support Trump, and evidence seems to be mounting, but his statement in that video makes it actually sound like he was some annoyed citizen saying that Trump rallies were causing everyone else who werent Trump supporters trouble when moving about.

I don't know. In one shot he blacked out the email address, which is fine. Then in another it seems like just a plaintext wordpad paragraph that doesn't even claim Luckey was the sender. Seems odd to put it out that way. Ultimately I believe TDB here, I just find their supposed proof so far nonexistent, which is disappointing.

It's a little odd that the from line isn't in the second image, but I think it's clearly implied that he's talking to the same person. I don't know. I just think if Gideon isn't a complete hack he knows that this would be a very stupid thing to lie about in this fashion (i.e. fabricating emails). The screengrabs are meant to indicate that this is something that happened without ambiguity. I guess we'll see if Luckey denies the legitimacy of these emails. Barring that as a reason to doubt them, I don't know what he can do to prove these emails are legit.

Luckey supporting and donating to Trump is rather normal and somewhat expected.
Luckey supporting Nimble America and the actions of those that comprise Nimble America? That's a much harder thing to stomach.

Right. I'm just also trying to make the point that without direct access to the account or server, there's always going to be the possibility that digital evidence has been tampered with. It's kind of an inherently difficult thing to prove if you don't simply trust that the person is operating in good faith.

To be honest they've generally done better in the past, even when they had to defend really shitty policies.
