No it fucking isn't

The average American voter doesn't experience a "liberal shaming" them, they hear about it on the news, or in attack ads. She lost because she's a woman, a "criminal" and "unlikeable".

It's more likely she lost because of the same reason Obama won. People are sick and tired of the government and they want change. As radical as Trump is he at least brings massive change to the table. Clinton was just going to be 8 more years of Obama and the people voted and were not OK with that. A party hasn't had 3 terms of presidency in a LONG time.

I'm not a trump supporter but she didn't lose because she was a woman. In 2008 10 million more women voted than men. She gained 12% from women over 2012 and Trump gained 12% of men over 2012. She had a net gain because she was a woman. She failed because she was more of the same shitty government we've had. Took me two minutes of research to pull that up. She lost the Black and Latino vote, she lost states that have been Democratic since 1994. This went far beyond the fact that she was a women and "unlikeable." This is going to rock the foundation more than any other election.

Something just dawned on me... Trump is surely an atheist.

We just got our first atheist President lol the fucking Irony

Am I crazy to think his secularity (don't know if atheism) is helping him get elected?

The evangelical poison was holding the Republican party back, IMO

Seriously, the fuck has Florida been smoking?

The dude literally got murdered on National Television infront of his family by Chris Christie, was super depressed and gave up, and now he's fucking back in office.

Its mind boggling

I swear it's the same people that voted for fuckhead Rick Scott. They just want the worse people to represent this state.

Republicans control all three branches and many upon many of them have spoken on record to include Trump about getting rid of or expanding what I stated.

"Battle" suggests there's an opposing force.

Right. There is no battle. There is no war. They won. We lost. 2018 won't change anything Dems as always never get off their asses to go vote.

This is it. This is our reality. There's no fight left to have.

Every pollster was wrong. LA Times tracking poll is like the only one that predicted this.

I just don't understand, they weren't off by a little, but by insane margins. I went into this election incredibly confident... I can't believe this.

Nah man. Americans wanted this, just like how Brits wanted Brexit. More people voting would mean just as many more votes for Trump as Hillary. Wouldn't change a thing.

Diagree.

Voter suppression disproportionately impacted minoritiy communities.

People acting like anything and everything Trump wants he will get. How long did it take before we saw Obama get what he wanted. Most of his time in office will be spent arguing and the this will wake up some of the apathetic folks who did not give a damn this election cycle. USA will be fine.

He will have all 3 branches. What will they get done.

Actually, people like you that repeat an academic definition of racism that has no place in political discourse outside of a college classroom like some kind of mantra while ignoring the very real emotional reactions invoked are why Trump won.

Would be nice if white people cared about the very real emotional reactions of minorities oppressed under their collective boot for the past 400 years like you're expecting the rest of us to do, even as you spit on our collective quality of life like this due to this political outcome.

Van Jones is the voice of truth right now.

Van Jones is spreading more separation based on race. Instead of fighting amongst ourselves all the damn time we, as citizens, should be joining together to fight the bullshit corps, politicians, and continued drive towards eliminating jobs, making it more difficult to be successful, and limiting the opportunities if Americans as a whole.

Divide and conquer is a great strategy that has been working on America for years.

Yup. Since the beginning of the election, people said they were tired of Bush/Clinton. This is the end result, surprisingly.

So anyone considering distancing themselves from their family members that voted for Trump? I can't stop this feeling that I need to do this.

dont be a sore loser. Just because their guy won doesnt mean you should take it out on them.

Its time to come together.....

The GOP controls the house and Senate. They'll do whatever he wants. Hell, he'll be the new Reagan, whatever he says will be treated as golden in his party, because he just rewrote the entire book on presidential elections.
