Unprecedented.
Surely I'm first with that joke?

Mass Effect seems to be the perfect title to test the waters. I think the official date is "Spring 2017" but rumors suggest "March 21st" which is 4 days after the rumored Switch release date. That's about as good as it gets for assessing future projects.
If I'm a third party I say okay but that means we are not releasing anything.
They won't make a decision on Battlefront 2 until they see how well Switch sells and how well 3rd party games sell on Switch. It's fantasy to think otherwise. If they work on a game right now (as the quotes suggest) it's something already released or releasing soon.
EA pulled this crap last time and then blamed Nintendo for poor sales. Nobody was buying 3 -month old ports of Madden on a graphically inferior system.
They've at least claimed in the past that once they get Frostbite up and running on a platform, it's relatively easy for them to port other titles over.
FIFA/Madden, Plants v.s. Zombies, and Star Wars seem like the obvious places to start. Probably no Madden until that's on Frostbite as well.
I would also suspect that unless the launch is a disaster, they won't abandon the platform in 2017 and we'll at least get some fall games.
// Mod Edit:
Mass Effect is probably not a good guess: https://s25.postimg.org/meuloywf3/Untitled23.jpg
Bethesda won't even confirm Skyrim will be on the Switch which says all we need to know how ironclad Nintendo's NDA's are.
That isn't convincing.

Fifa: Legacy edition
This assumes Disney literally do not give a fuck what happens to their IP and are fine with whatever EA tells them,
What are you talking about? EA didn't blame anybody.
It was just not worth it for them to release games on Wii U anymore.
And Fifa and NFS on Wii U are really great games, too bad that Wii U owners didn't buy them despite the long droughts that Nintendo bundled with the system.
Can you blame them for not buying them though? I doubt many people bought a Wii U and didn't already own a 360, PS3, or PC. Why buy NFSMW for $60 on Wii U when you could buy it for half the price elsewhere? If someone didn't buy it elsewhere already, what would persuade them to buy it now? The additional Wii U features?
Not targeting you in special, but I've seen this stupid joke in this thread too many times. To have a legacy edition you need to have at least one new FIFA on that system.
And Wii U didn't get any legacy edition unfortunately.
Did we get Battlefront 1 on Wii U? No? There's you're answer about Disney. If Switch doesn't provide the market needed for it, Disney can't do shit.
I think they mean it would be on an older engine since Switch is probably weak. I could be wrong.
Madden and Fifa .
Yes, I can. NFS was practically a remaster. Just have a look how well remasters are selling on the other consoles.
A remaster? Released 6 months later? That's a port.
That's not what FIFA legacy means. FIFA legacy is the exact same game with a roster update.
Frostbite on a Nintendo platform is out of the question and I'm not talking about tech
...An older version of the game(360\PS3) with updated rosters.
Honest question for those with knowledge of system power: would switch even be able to run Andromeda based on the rumored specs (are they finalized specs?)?
